Anybody have any fun plans for the weekend? I'm going to my parents house to see them. They live an hour and a half away from me, so getting away to go back to my hometown and see them is always nice. My baseline ultrasound is on Monday, I'm so ready to get this cycle going!
also side note (and slight vent): is target the gathering place for all pregnant women? Last night I went there, and as I'm standing in line filling my fertility meds at the pharmacy, I see like 10 pregnant people walking by. Then got stuck behind someone who was buying Easter basket stuff for their baby. I hate how hypersensitive I've become to it and how jealous I get. Of course I don't know their stories and they could have had WAY more trouble than I've had so far, but I still sometimes feel so sad that I'm not there yet.

@msirni0 I really struggle with jealousy over other people's pregnancy and children. Many of my friends have babies and brag that they weren't even trying. It was so hard for me to swallow the idea that I am spending all this money and time for something that can just happen by accident for other people. My husband reminds me that everyone has their own path and we have to focus on our own path. I'm sure there is a reason why my path isn't going the way I always thought it would. I'm trying to appreciate how close this experience has brought me to my husband and really helped me understand the reasons I want to be a mother. With all that said, it still is SO hard!
Update about me: I had my trigger shot on Tuesday and my husband and I went in Wednesday for my IUI. Prior to this my husband's SA said that everything was good but his count was at 5.9 mil. The doctor said that they like to see at least 10 but that we could move forward with anything above 5. When we went in to get the IUI his count was at 11 mil! I was so happy because the doctor suggested that he should take Clomid but we weren't excited about introducing more medicine. We did the IUI but I am a little hesitant to get excited because I only had one follicle on my left side that was at 18mm. We shall see what happens. I am officially 2dpiui.

The very abbreviated version of my history. I have a prolactinoma which was DX when I was 20. Me 37/DH 38, married Dec. 2014, BFP#1 Jan-2015 with MC in Wk 6. Started seeing RE Oct-2015 and got BFP#2 naturally before starting the planned clomid. Second MC the week of Thanksgiving 2015 also Wk 6. Recurrent loss testing done in December. All normal including karyotype of DH and me.
Jan Cycle: 100mg Clomid CD3-7 + TI Feb Cycle: 150mg Clomid CD2-4/100mg CD5-6 + IUI (no trigger) March Cycle: 150mg Clomid CD2-6 Found out yesterday I O'd before my first follie check so no IUI only TI. He thinks there were 3-4.
Currently in the TWW 2DPO. I hope it's OK if I hang here even though I didn't have an IUI. Didn't see another thread where I might fit for Check-in. Next cycle will be injectables and IUI if I don't have a BFP.
Greetings! This is my first time posting here. . .well posting ANYWHERE. Quick history: -started ttc at the end of 2014 -found out tubes were blocked at the beginning of 2016 -everything else is fine -had tubes unblocked in Feb 2016. Right one opened up successfully, left one opened up but it is narrow and oddly shaped because of salpingitis which puts me at higher risk for ectopic -Started Femara cd 3-7 at end of February. Two great follicles on right side (the good side -No trigger shot. Positive OPK on Friday March 4th -IUI March 5th
That brings us to today. I have been reading so many posts and stories and just decided to add my journey in hopes that it could be of help to someone. I am currently 6dpiui. I have had a few "symptoms" -constipation day 4-5 -cramps, shooting pains, and back aches day 5 -dull cramps very low in abdomen and thin, watery discharge that was very light brown day 6 (hoping this is implantation)
Hoping for BFP in a few days. Will test on Monday with First Response. . .so anxious!
BTW : @MAMPH25 it looks like we are cycle buddies and had our IUI on the same day. How are things going? any symptoms? GL with your BFP!
Can I join this party? Today is CD1 and am starting IUI#2. I go for baseline on Monday and the nurse already said they wanted to switch me from Clomid to Letrozole because Clomid made my lining too thin. So we shall see. I am pretty nervous because I got so sick during my last IUI cycle (presumably from the meds messing with my lupus but can not prove that so am diving head first into another cycle).

@teamginger13 GL on round 2 and I hope it doesn't make you feel bad like last time! Hopefully your body reacts differently with Letrozole instead of Clomid. @ehshea that's great about your husband's count! Fingers crossed for you!!! I agree with you, if there is a small silver lining to all of this, it has brought my husband and I so much closer. He's not the most warm and fuzzy guy all the time, but he has been my rock for the past 2 years dealing with all this. I also do think that when things are really really hard, you tend to appreciate them more when they come.

@mountainsmoved yes! I did have my IUI on Saturday and Sunday. I've had some minor cramping as well, soreness in the chest (if you pick up what I'm putting down), and some discharge as well. I go in Monday morning for bloodwork!

Hi everybody! I have an IVF cycle scheduled but my doc says there's time to fit in one more IUI before starting the IVF cycle. Maybe we will get a BFP and not even need to move onto IVF. That would be magical (and much more cost effective). I hope everyone is getting off to a good start!

GL to all during their TWW!! AF showed today so I will be calling the RE to schedule my ultrasound and will be starting clomid on Tuesday. Happy to actually start since we should of started back in December but had a detour to a urologist to clear DH. IUI #1 here we come
@MountainsMoved is it typical have your progesterone checked after an IUI. I had mine on Tuesday and my doctor didn't say anything about checking this. Is that something I should ask for. This is my first month with the RE. My OBGYN told me that I didn't ovulate last month because my progesterone was a 6.9 on CD21. My RE said that she felt like that confirmed ovulation. The conflicting information was very confusing for me but my RE didn't mention anything about this cycle.
I'm hoping for BFP's for all those in the TWW! I test on Friday. @Tusername I hope your IUI gets you the BFP you are looking for! No one really wants to go through IVF, but it's good to know it's an option. FX you won't need it.!

Thanks so much @bbkidz! @tusername praying that you get your bfp with this iui. @laur1212 glad you are getting started. It definitely helps to feel like you are finally moving forward in this thing! Hi @ehshea! my RE checks my progesterone each month. My previous obgyn thought i might have pcos and have issues ovulating since my cycles were irregular. Fortunately, we have been pretty regular in the past 6 months. My RE checked my progesterone for two reasons: confirm ovulation and to make sure that it was high enough to support a pregnancy if I did conceive this round. If it was too low she would have put me on progesterone supplements in case of pregnancy. Progesterone supports the uterine lining health. Both of those reasons would be reason enough for me to request getting it checked. Ive found so many conflicting numbers with what confirms ovulation and what doesnt. At my lowest unmedicated cycle I was at a 13.5 and she said that was fine. I would definitely atleast bring it up with your RE and get an understanding of his/her reasoning. Let us know how it goes. I bout my first response today to start my early testing tomorrow morning. I had to wait until today after church otherwise I would have not been able to keep from using one way before time! GL everyone!
So I called my RE and I am to come in on Friday 3/25 (CD13) and they are going to check post coital do a saline ultrasound and I guess based off of all of that we will schedule my IUI

Hi all, I thought I was out this month but I just had my first IUI on Saturday. I started this cycle on 100mg clomid and didn't respond and then immediately did 150mg of clomid and had one large folli, triggered on Friday and then went in for the IUI Saturday. I was super tired all day yesterday and I don't know if it was from the trigger shot or just from being up so early Saturday to get to the doctors by 7 am. My beta test is on Monday the 28th so two weeks from today, my doctors office is closed for a long Easter weekend so they rather wait a couple extra days than have me go in early. Fingers crossed for you ale9687! So glad the up dose of clomid kicked things in gear. I have had several cycles recently with the follies just refusing to mature and cancelled triggers and IUI's. I am hopeful this month we will get to trigger, cycle, and get a BFP. msirni0 I hope the Clomid works but doesn't make you too wonky feeling. Did you have a lot of symptoms with Ovidrel? I seemed to but I "felt" like it was working compared to the Pregnyl that really didn't have any side effects. laur1212 What is a saline ultrasound? I have never heard of one before. I have been on Letrozole and it isn't working that awesome now but was working...clomid never worked for me. I hope you got everything in line so you could do an IUI this month. Hi all! So I tested this morning with Furst response and got a BFN I know its still early at 9 dpo but seeing that one line always stings. Today my back is aching and im having some mild cramping that makes me feel like AF is coming but Im trying to stay hopeful. Hope everyone has had a good start to the week.
@BecauseLove my understanding it's just like an HSG but instead of using X-ray and contrast it's ultrasound and saline and it's done right in the office. At my appointment they will check on follies, see if I have any blockages, do bloodwork and I'm assuming then we will see if/when my IUI will be
@laur1212212 Oh I haven't ever heard of that before. I hope it goes well. I keep wondering if my Dr should be checking for blockages or things of that sort or if that was done ages ago when I had my first ultrasound. I am not sure if I ever had a HSG done. But we are hoping for a IUI this month (the dr said we could do one a few months ago but we haven't had mature follies recently).

@BecauseLove I joked with my husband that I need one to dust the cobwebs off since I'm so old LOL at my initial apt I got an ultrasound( saw a bunch of follies) did blood work not sure why he chose to do this over an HSG. I would totally ask because I'm sure you would remember if they checked for blockages...hoping you get to do your first IUI!!! I'm so ready to get mine started

I went in for bloodwork this morning to test to make sure I ovulated and the results came back that I did, which is good but I got no number or anything. I always see girls posting their numbers. They told me if I don't get my period by next Monday to call for a blood pregnancy test. So my question basically is why didn't I get a number? My IUI was last Saturday and Sunday.
Hey ladies, at the beginning of this cycle I was placed on letrozole 5mg and 200Follistim CD 3-7. On day 8 I had an appt where my right ovary had a leader of 7mm and my left had a leader of 10. so as it is today I am on cycle day 10 and I had an appointment; which went okay so at this point feeling a bit optimistic. I now have a total of 6 eggs, 4 growing, no longer on letrozole but continuing on follistim 200ui/day. My right now has 4 growing sizes, 8, 9.3, 10.4 and 11.9 and my right has two sizes 10.4 and 12.5. My levels are ... soso, my RE says it is still early but if things flow right then I should be somewhat mature come Wed (hopefully 16mm or more) and maybe inseminate Friday or Saturday.. Fx and tons of baby dust to you all!!!

Last night I went there, and as I'm standing in line filling my fertility meds at the pharmacy, I see like 10 pregnant people walking by. Then got stuck behind someone who was buying Easter basket stuff for their baby. I hate how hypersensitive I've become to it and how jealous I get. Of course I don't know their stories and they could have had WAY more trouble than I've had so far, but I still sometimes feel so sad that I'm not there yet.

@msirni0 I really struggle with jealousy over other people's pregnancy and children. Many of my friends have babies and brag that they weren't even trying. It was so hard for me to swallow the idea that I am spending all this money and time for something that can just happen by accident for other people. My husband reminds me that everyone has their own path and we have to focus on our own path. I'm sure there is a reason why my path isn't going the way I always thought it would. I'm trying to appreciate how close this experience has brought me to my husband and really helped me understand the reasons I want to be a mother. With all that said, it still is SO hard!
Update about me: I had my trigger shot on Tuesday and my husband and I went in Wednesday for my IUI. Prior to this my husband's SA said that everything was good but his count was at 5.9 mil. The doctor said that they like to see at least 10 but that we could move forward with anything above 5. When we went in to get the IUI his count was at 11 mil! I was so happy because the doctor suggested that he should take Clomid but we weren't excited about introducing more medicine. We did the IUI but I am a little hesitant to get excited because I only had one follicle on my left side that was at 18mm. We shall see what happens. I am officially 2dpiui.

The very abbreviated version of my history. I have a prolactinoma which was DX when I was 20. Me 37/DH 38, married Dec. 2014, BFP#1 Jan-2015 with MC in Wk 6. Started seeing RE Oct-2015 and got BFP#2 naturally before starting the planned clomid. Second MC the week of Thanksgiving 2015 also Wk 6. Recurrent loss testing done in December. All normal including karyotype of DH and me.
Jan Cycle: 100mg Clomid CD3-7 + TI
Feb Cycle: 150mg Clomid CD2-4/100mg CD5-6 + IUI (no trigger)
March Cycle: 150mg Clomid CD2-6 Found out yesterday I O'd before my first follie check so no IUI only TI. He thinks there were 3-4.

That brings us to today. I have been reading so many posts and stories and just decided to add my journey in hopes that it could be of help to someone.
I am currently 6dpiui. I have had a few "symptoms"
-constipation day 4-5
-cramps, shooting pains, and back aches day 5
-dull cramps very low in abdomen and thin, watery discharge that was very light brown day 6 (hoping this is implantation)
Hoping for BFP in a few days. Will test on Monday with First Response. . .so anxious!
BTW : @MAMPH25 it looks like we are cycle buddies and had our IUI on the same day. How are things going? any symptoms? GL with your BFP!

This is my first month with the RE. My OBGYN told me that I didn't ovulate last month because my progesterone was a 6.9 on CD21. My RE said that she felt like that confirmed ovulation. The conflicting information was very confusing for me but my RE didn't mention anything about this cycle.

msirni0 I hope the Clomid works but doesn't make you too wonky feeling. Did you have a lot of symptoms with Ovidrel? I seemed to but I "felt" like it was working compared to the Pregnyl that really didn't have any side effects.

sweetscoop that is awesome that meds and such are covered. We are paying out of pocket for everything. Did your Dr. talk about upping your meds this cycle to create a new fake cycle with the possibility of boosting your follies?
juliehollz13 Did you decide what you were going to do? I have been on Letrozole and it isn't working that awesome now but was working...clomid never worked for me. I hope you got everything in line so you could do an IUI this month.

IVF and FET (diagnosed with PCOS) 204 pounds at start of IVF
IVF # 1 October and November 2016: CCRM - Minneapolis 10/14 Consult and CD 3 testing, 10/14 started (OCP Antagonist - BCP) BCP, 10/21 1 day work up, Doxycycline 100mg 10 days, 10/24 stop bcp, Bloodwork US 10/29, 10/30-11/8 Stims 2 vials of Menopur, Dexamethasone, 225 of Gonal-F daily (dropped to 120). CCRM Vitamin Cocktail (like 20 of them), Monitoring (11/2, 11/4, 11/5, 11/6, 11/7, 11/8), Retrieval 11/10 (38 eggs, 30 mature, 16 fertilized ICSI), 11/16 8 Blasts 11/30 CCS testing results 3 Normal 5aa's (2 boys and 1 girl) 1 Unknown 4 Abnormal (All girls)
Fet #1 January 2017: CCRM - Minneapolis bcp/lupron/suppository/p4 in oil QOD AF 12/7, 12/8 start meds. 1/3 lining and blood work check 14/15 mm, BW check 1/6. 1/9 transfer with acupuncture 1 CCS/PGS Normal 5aa hatching Progesterone around 26ish? Lower estrogen level 207 (wanted above 300 but over 200 was acceptable), started 1 estrace, progesterone in oil every other day, vivelle dot patches 4 every other day, 3x estrodiol daily, vitamin cocktail. POAS: - 4dp5dt and 5dp5dt, 6dp5dt frer very very very faint line. 7dp5dt and 8dp5dt + on Accuclear. 8dp5dt pregnant on a clear blue easy digital. 214 pounds at FET

2/24 9 week 2 days start weening. Graduated from RE (CCRM is now starting weening as soon as 8.5 weeks)
3/7 10 Weeks 5 days weened completely of FET meds A1C 5.3% (Normal)
3/9 11 Weeks 1 day my progesterone level was 15 and my estrogen level was 881 (I freaked out!)
3/16 12 Weeks 1 day baby heard on doppler 164 HB
4/14 16 week 2 days Ultrasound baby is looking good with all good numbers sized 17 weeks. Also got to hear her on the doppler for a few mins too.
5/5 19 Weeks 2 days going in for "20" week anatomy ultrasound got measurements but need to come back as wasn't able to get all the measurements
