Anything baby related this week?: Monthly check up on Tuesday which means the perk of leaving work early. Otherwise nothing exciting. I don't have my glucose test for a couple more weeks.Β
Rants/raves/symptoms?: Hip pain from laying on my sides. I am a back sleeper so it's not been fun switching up. I feel like I have been more hormonal and bitchy lately too.Β
GTKY (stolen from one of the other tickers): When/how did you and your SO meet?: Haha oh gosh. We worked together when I was in grad school. I hit him up for a random booty call on cinco de mayo after one too many tequila shots. The classic college love story right?Β

24 weeks! Yay! He's a cantaloupe, eggplant, baby baguette, or a puffin.Β
Anything baby related this week?
We are redoing the floors in the nursery and our living room starting this week, we bought all the supplies the other day! I'm also trying to finish the painting today (better my pregnant clutzy self spill paint on the old floors than on the brand new ones)...and I have a thousand sewing projects to work on. I also found a box of my old stuffed animals from when I was a kid in the basement and washed them up to put in his room and it got all sentimental.Β
Rants/raves/symptoms?
Gas from hell. Everytime I eat it's like an hour of discomfort while the food tries to manuveur through my squished intestines. I'm still starving all the time but trying to make good choices and not obsess about the scale too much. I'm itchy, my hips feel completely disconnected from my body, and I'm way too emotional. Watching Inside Out was a disaster. But my husband is being amazing and the little guy is moving around a lot, especially when we read to him at night so that's pretty comforting.Β

We met in sophomore year of high school. Our lockers were next to each other and one day we complimented my Buzzcocks t-shirt and I said I liked his Velvet Underground t-shirt and the rest is history haha. We were friends for a year or so and then started dating in Junior year (he was my surprise New Years Eve kiss). That was over nine years ago now! We've been married for going on four years!Β
Trying to finish up baby registeries this weekend! Β Also we decided to do a navy blue/lime green nursery so that's next on the list of things to do.
Baby boy is moving around like crazy! Β He helped wake me up this morning when I was hitting snooze too many times. Β I've been more irritable lately. Β Like this morning, I couldn't find an outfit that fit my current size appropriately and that was frustrating.
My husband and I met at a random party in college. Β We ran into each other in an alley on campus a few weeks later, he asked for my number and the rest is history!
Β I'm 24 weeks today so baby is the size of an ear of corn? lolΒ

Aside from taking care of DS Just getting ready to move to the farm at the end of the month, we have to stay with my BIL and SIL for two weeks while the place gets painted/carpets cleaned, and then I will set up the nursery!

No symptoms, just like last pregnancy aside from feeling bigger and bigger every day haha

I was 16 and DH was 20 when we met, it was through mutual friends. My girlfriend and I needed a ride home from the movies so she called her friend to pick us up and it just so happened he was out driving with my future DH. The second I saw him I knew there was something there haha, and now its been 9 years!! can't believe it!

We have our A/S Monday afternoon. I have ALL THE NERVES for it. I don't know why I'm so nervous, we've had tons of ultrasounds and everything's been fine. But sheesh I can barely sleep.Β

Laying on my left side at night makes me burp all night long. Gross and uncomfortable. Ew.Β

We met at work. I was the office administrator and he is and engineer. We got drunk at a going away party, hooked up, never looked back. People were concerned we would break up and one of us would quit, but we got engaged and I quit. Oops.Β
Anything baby related this week? 20 week appt. Nothing exciting. A/s isn't until 22 weeks, but we are team green anyway.
Rants/raves/symptoms? Achy hips, but otherwise feeling pretty good. My whole family did have a horrible stomach flu this week, but we're recovered now.
GTKY (stolen from one of the other tickers): When/how did you and your SO meet? We met volunteering with kids at our church when we were freshmen in high school and started dating as sophomores.
Anything baby related this week? We had our a/s today and we are having a little girl! Don't get results re health/growth of baby until next week fromΒ doctor, so nervous for that, but continuing to think positive, healthy thoughts.Β
Rants/raves/symptoms? I hate my snoogle! I got the one that goes all around and think it was a bad choice. It's too firm, I think? I may also be too tall for it? I'm back to my old worn out body pillows.

23 weeks - monstrous foot long grapefruit

Just slowly getting the nursery together. Oh, and I'm going to a Baby Basics class at Babies R Us on Wednesday. It's only an hour long, so I'm guessing it's REALLY basic. Change the diaper. Feed them. Don't let them operate heavy machinery.Β
Rants/raves/symptoms? Β My back is starting to bother me and sleeping has become less than comfortable. I am, however, feeling tons of kicks. Loving it.Β

I was 15, he just turned 16. He went to school with my cousin and she brought him to hang out with us at the mall one day. We hit it off and went to his sophomore dance together. We broke up a month later because neither of us could drive the 30 minutes to see each other. Met back up a few months later when we got drivers licenses, he asked me out again, and we've been together ever since. We're 30 now and I think it's pretty cool that we've basically been together half our lives.Β
I always like seeing other people who met their SO when they were young. Β I think some people think it's strange, but I feel very lucky that I've had him for so long.Β

I'm feeling big, and this week I was really sweaty and realized the maternity stuff I have is not going to cut it for a third trimester in the coastal south. So, maternity shopping!Β

We met my sophomore/his junior year of college. We had a two year class together, so we became really good friends. After he graduated he came back for a visit and I had just broken up with one of my dumb but cute art school boyfriends, and we went out for a drink. That was 8 years ago. Things moved quickly after that!Β
Not really. Β I dug out all of the old clothes last week. My 1yr old is still using the crib in our room so sometime soon I need to transition him out.Β
So incredibly hormonal lately. Hormonal and uncomfortable.Β
I was 16 (he was 17) and had just started my first job at a grocery store. He came through my checkout line and I remember going home that night and telling my mom all about my day including the really hot guy that came through my line. Β He came in every Sunday after that even it was just to buy a pack of gum. It took him 3 months to finally get the courage up to asked me for my number. That night he called me and we have been inseparable since. Crazy to think that was 11.5yrs ago. Β

we had a u/s last week and baby is measuring on the small side (28th percentile) but doc isn't concerned. My GD test isn't for another few weeks and he's allowing a one hour!Β
I'm in a weird clothing stage where the maternity stuff I've gotten is too big but my regular clothes are too small. Vegas also wants to be 80 degrees one day and 60 the next, and the hot days it's cold in the morning and at night so dressing appropriately is just not a freakin option right now.Β
DH and I met our sophomore year of college. He trained me my first night at an Italian restaurant. He'd only worked there for a week but they were short staffed and he happened to see my license picture on my resume that night, thought I was cute and offered to train me. The manager let him and that was pretty much it... 11 years later here we are
