6 month shots

My daughter had her 6 month shots on Wednesday. She was fine most of the day. A little cranky but then late that afternoon she started running a fever around 101 so I began giving her Tylenol. She also had diarrhea most of that day and yesterday. Her fever finally broke late yesterday afternoon but now she has really bad diaper rash.... I'm assuming the rash is from her fever because she had nothing new to eat around that time. Anyone else have anything like this happen?

    When my LO gets shots we deal with a majorly cranky unhappy fussy baby - fever - poo issues - all of it. We seriously DREAD shots because of it. We have three to four days of hell from it and get no sleep.

    The diarrhea is the culprit more than likely. We have never had diaper rash and he had it for the first time when he had loose stools a few weeks back. Used some Aquafor and it was gone the next day. It looked so terrible, it made me cry!

    Coconut oil is great for diaper rash! My lo is just exhausted his awake time been cut in half. He's cutting teeth had his shots and had a cold all this week

    We just had our 6 Mo shots on Tuesday also! My LO experienced almost the exact same symptoms minus the diaper rash. Tuesday afternoon he was fine. Wed morning his temperature was the highest I have ever seen it. I called the doctor and they said to watch it but to give him Tylenol and it was normal. That day he had diarrhea all day. Checked his temperature again that evening was even higher so I called again (yes I am annoying but would rather be annoying to the doctors than not call and miss something and im a FTM :)) again said it was actually normal diarrhea and all just to make sure to watch him and if he had a fever on Thursday to Friday they would want to see him.  He is 100% now :)

    diaper rash when we get it bad we actually use a little apple cidar vinegar and water (sounds weird but pediatrician mentioned it once because she said it would work better than any one she could prescribe -- this was during our thrush days)
