Eh, not really. But seriously, someone help me get this kid out of my bed! We have started a horrible, horrible habit of letting her sleep in our bed because 1. We're all about getting sleep however we can get it. 2. Meltdowns about sleeping in her own bed are not worth potentially waking up the 4 month old that sleeps from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. every single night. No way is that being messed with...I need at least one decent sleeper! Also, she fights bedtime for at least 2 hours every night. Yes, we have a routine, and she has basically told me, "F you and your bedtime routine, Mom." (Figuratively speaking). Any suggestions from mamas who have been there, done that? Any mamas currently in the hell that is putting a toddler to bed and just want company in the misery?
Re: Sleep Training a Toddler
in his room and he falls asleep, same for naps. We did put an air mattress in his room so we can cuddle with him as part of his bedtime routine. He sleeps 12 hours. I agree with you on having a four month old, it's exhausting to have two babies up at night!! We tried less aggressive methods with him because we didn't want him to cry. Nothing was working and I felt it was becoming more emotionally stressful on him by dragging out the process of trying to keep him in his room, so we got the gate. Best thing we did. I am finally sleeping after 2 years
