I know a lot of us are eating nuts as a healthy snack and just wanted to put this out there due to the increased risks of foodborne illness during pregnancy:

    Oh man, as soon as I saw the word pistachio, it's all I want to eat. Damn you pregnancy hormones! Thanks for the heads up @simcal18!

    Thanks for posting this. I love pistachios and eat them all the time :( Thankfully not this particular brand but I have eaten it before.

    @MRSCORKER sorry I caused a pistachio craving!  As long as you can find some that aren't these you should be fine.

    I'm pretty sure with recalls if you take them to the store they'll give you a refund even if the package is opened, won't they?

    @mrszoess  I wish I cared more about my pantry.  I try so hard to buy containers and organize everything, but when I'm in a rush, I just throw everything in.

    Thanks for posting this! I had a bag of these in the pantry calling my name.  They are "safe" based on the lot number but I'm kinda turned off... and also just realized they are the "salt and pepper" flavor which is not my fave. Either way, this is good info.
