Rants/Raves/Symptoms: lack of energy!!!! I also swear the baby accidentally kicked by my ribs and went to the outside of them (if that makes any sense) it hurt like hell Upcoming Appointments: next week, I have entered the every other week period
Questions For the Group: When should DH not do any more traveling for work? 38 weeks?
GTKY: DH and I are going to our first class tonight! It is through the hospital. It's 6 weeks long because I signed us up for the overkill version that includes infant care
Rants/Raves/Symptoms: Rant - SORE hips/tailbone. I do a lot of walking and had my last volleyball game last night, but man my hips get sore. Rave - everything else! Life is good and I'm so excited. My shower is next Sunday and then my completion discounts will be available. I can't wait to make lots of baby purchases! Upcoming Appointments: I just had one yesterday, so another two weeks. I gained 4 pounds in two weeks... I'm not happy about that. I usually have my appointments right away in the morning and this one was later in the afternoon, so I'm hoping that water weight accounted for some of that weight gain. I also got my TDAP shot.
Questions For the Group: When are you going to pack your hospital bag/install the car seat?
GTKY: Are you taking birthing classes? Where? Yes, through the hospital. We started on Tuesday and our instructor is so great! We watched two birth videos and everyone's terrified expressions were a little funny.
@js8812 DH and I will be driving 4 hours to my hometown for our baby shower and my sister's wedding shower, I'm being paranoid and bringing the car seat for that trip I will be 36 weeks. Otherwise maybe like a week before? We have practiced putting it in. We also have my sister and a lot of friends that could bring it to the hospital if we don't happen to have it with us.
Questions For the Group: When should DH not do any more traveling for work? 38 weeks?
How far does he travel? Are they overnight trips? Would he be able to come back relatively quickly? If he could be there in a few hours, I would personally be pretty lenient about it. That's just me though.
I'm in a similar situation. My H works a 2 weeks on/2weeks off schedule. Right now he's scheduled to have May 11-24 off and I'm due on the 19th.... If I happen to go late, it might be a 6+ hour lag before he can get home. He only gets paid the days that he works, so we don't want him staying at home when he could be working. I wish we had a crystal ball!
Rants/Raves/Symptoms: LO is still changing positions but seems to be trying to settle head-down. The past two days, it felt like he was trying to kick his way through my mid/upper back on the right side and something...an arm? his head? was stuck in my right hip. He's balanced out this afternoon, thankfully. Heartburn doesn't seem to be going away. Just like with DS, it seems to be here to stay regardless of what I try or what I eat or don't eat. On a more positive note, I'm loving the way that he's reacting to things. Upcoming Appointments: Next Wednesday with an OB
Questions For the Group: None this week, but @js8812 I haven't done either yet. My plan is to get the carseat cleaned and the base installed by the end of the month. I want to clean out my car's interior before putting another carseat in there. I'll probably start packing a hospital bag the week before Easter since I'll be off of work for spring break.
GTKY: Are you taking birthing classes? Where? Nope. Not this time around. I'm mostly doing lots of research on vbacs just in case, and pulling up notes and resources from our birthing class two years ago.

It would be overnight/a week at a time, a 9ish hour drive. He would have the option of flying back but that's IF there is a flight. It's on a project his office might have to work on. I told him definitely no travel in May (due the 12th) but I feel like I'm being paranoid beyond that.
Rants/Raves/Symptoms: My pelvic pain has been so much better after a few weeks of PT. I'm so glad I went, I was hesitant for some reason and thought it would be torture, but it wasn't bad at all! Also, LO seems to spend a lot of time breach, with his feet straight down. I told DH it feels like he's trying to kick out the trap door. So uncomfortable! I'm hoping for a VBAC, and I know there is plenty of time but this isn't promising... little stinker. Upcoming Appointments: Next appt is not until 32 weeks (3/31). Still hoping to hear back soon about the Zika blood test they sent to the CDC but it's been 3 1/2 weeks and no word. I guess no news is good news?
Questions For the Group: Nothing at the moment... @eerin86 I think it totally depends on your situation. How far does he travel? If you have family nearby that could drive you to the hospital and he could be back with a couple of hours notice, I would say all the way up to EDD, but if he is your ride to the hospital, I would say maybe 37/38 weeks at the most. I wouldn't feel comfortable after that... @js8812 I will probably wait until May sometime to pack my hospital bag but I have a list going on an app in my phone (all of my lists are in there, like groceries, etc). I add things to the list all the time as I think of them to pack later. As for the carseat, I'll probably wait and have DH grab it on the way out the door to the hospital. With our first we installed it a week or two before her EDD but now we know how so I'm less concerned with having it installed in advance (and learning how- he had to go to the fire station!) ... I would say, aside from learning how to do it, wait as long as you can so that you have less risk of getting in an accident with it in your car before baby even arrives.
GTKY: Are you taking birthing classes? Where? I don't think so since this is my second. I'll be reading up in my Mayo Clinic Guide to Pregnancy book, it's interesting! But we'll probably skip the classes this time around.
Rants/Raves/Symptoms: I've officially entered the terribly uncomfortable phase and I'm not sure how i'll survive 8-10 more weeks! Upcoming Appointments: Not till week 34, just had one last Friday and all is good. Baby was head down and I'm hoping he stays that way!
Questions For the Group: js8812 - I started to pack mine because I had time last weekend. It's not done but would be enough to take in an oh sh*t moment. I need to clean the car out first... EErin86 if he's going far away I probably would not want him to after 36 weeks, if he could be back within 4 hours then up until 39 I would be okay. If it's for business I'm more understanding than if it was for leisure or something. But I would really hate to be alone if I needed to go to the hospital, so I might be less excited about him traveling than others.
GTKY: Are you taking birthing classes? Where? Yes, the Babies R Us by me offers free classes so we are going to take some!
Rants/Raves/Symptoms: Baby is not crowded yet, however, his movements really to put pressure on me in weird places. He is stilling flipping around. My appetite has increased. Upcoming Appointments: Tomorrow! Then I think I go every other week.
Questions For the Group: None at the moment. @js8812 I haven't packed yet, but I think I will get ready in a couple weeks. At least getting items grouped together or making sure I can find what I am looking for at home or in the store. @EErin86 my hubby travels for his job, too. Our cutoff for his travel is 37 weeks.
GTKY: Are you taking birthing classes? Where? Not this time around. With our first, we took a breastfeeding class and a birth class at the local hospital. A class I want to look into taking is a babywearing class. There is a local group that teaches them. I didn't wear my babies much before, but I think I will be wearing this baby a lot because of the need to be active with my other two kids.
Week/Fruit: 30/Cucumber (seriously?)/Motorcycle helmet on Ovia (again, seriously?!)
Rants/Raves/Symptoms: LO is taking up alllll of the space and I feel so incredibly bloated and as if I'm going to burst. I can't believe I still have ten weeks of this to go. Also, DH is pushing all the wrong buttons with me today. Somebody hold me back, because I'm thisclose to doing some serious yelling in his direction. Upcoming Appointments: 3/14 for consultation with a pediatrician, 3/21 for OB, and 3/22 for a consultation with another pediatrician.
Questions For the Group: None.
GTKY: Are you taking birthing classes? Where? Yes. Our hospital offers them online, so we are going to go that route.
