How many weeks are you? Fruit or size of baby? 18 weeks, so a sweet potato, can of soda or green pepper

How are you feeling? Rants/Raves? So glad to have left the first tri nausea behind! Working out again and that is helping immensely. Been feeling movement for almost two weeks now (STM) and forgot how happy it makes me!

Prenatal appointment news/updates: Ultrasound in two weeks, but not finding out and terrified I will see something or the tech will slip! But really excited to see baby again.

GTKY:Where is your dream vacation spot? I've always wanted to go to the British Virgin Islands. I was a competitive curler, so not many warm vacations in the winter. Hoping to make up for that going forward!

How many weeks are you? Fruit or size of baby? 19! Baby is a mango, a hedgehog, or a gameboy

How are you feeling? Rants/Raves? Feeling a lot more flutters--love it! Really want DH to feel it too--I still think it hasn't completely sunk in for him. RLP has also kicked it up a notch, but I think it may be getting better the last day or 2. Sore throat today.

Prenatal appointment news/updates: Ultrasound next week!!! So excited to see baby. I'm just a little mad because they originally offered me the appt today, but I had them push it because we were supposed to be out of town closing on our house. Now the closing got pushed, so I wish the appointment was today. But very excited for next week.

GTKY:Where is your dream vacation spot? I want to see more of Europe--Iceland, Prague, Spain, Italy (been to Turin, but that's it) are all still on the list. Also, Peru!

@mmclark10 -- the BVI are gorgeous. We did a sailing trip there a few years ago. It was awesome.

How are you feeling? Rants/Raves? Pregnancy wise, feeling soooo much better! A lot more energy, appetite coming back and people have started noticing my bump

Have had issues with stress with a lot of bad things happening around me lately, but I am handling it better now.

Prenatal appointment news/updates: Had my 16w appt 2 days and it was quick and easy. Heard the heartbeat and sounded great! Next appt is in 4 weeks and we learn the sex and get to see baby! Can't wait!!!

GTKY:Where is your dream vacation spot? I love warm places, would love to go to a place like this;

How are you feeling? Rants/Raves? I am feeling really good! I love being pregnant.

Prenatal appointment news/updates: Monthly appointment next week and scan on the 25th. I can't wait to see her again.

GTKY:Where is your dream vacation spot? I would take anywhere right about now. But @bubblegum5586, that place looks awesome.

How many weeks are you? Fruit or size of baby? 19 today!! Just one more week until the halfway point, which is CRAZY.

How are you feeling? Rants/Raves? Well, I had a checkup today and I hoped that hearing baby's heartbeat would help calm my nerves until our anatomy scan (next Friday, woo!), but it didn't. It took the nurse a LONG time to find the HB, which totally freaked me out, and then I honestly couldn't hear a clear distinction between mine and what she said was baby's. Idk, I think it just stressed me out more. I'm counting down the days until I get to SEE baby again, and I also can't wait to find out the sex.

Prenatal appointment news/updates: Next appt. will be a week from tomorrow, when we get our anatomy scan and finally learn if baby is a boy or girl! I also go permission to work from home that day, AND it's a Friday, so as long as everything goes well, it's going to be the BEST DAY EVER.

GTKY:Where is your dream vacation spot? I would looooove to go to Curacao or Tahiti

@Hummingbird125 The doc also had a hard time getting baby's HB at my last appt--it was like baby was running from the doppler! She'd hear a beat, then baby would move, and again, and again. Finally got baby, but my HB was on there too. Are you feeling flutters yet? I find that really comforting, but like you, I'm very impatient for the ultrasound! Can you believe we're almost halfway?

Feeling ok... Have had crazy sinus headaches and can't seem to kick a stomach bug that's been going around but otherwise not too bad!

Counting down the minutes til my anatomy scan in 3 weeks!

Greece! We've done a few countries in Europe but this one is at the top of my list.

How many weeks are you? Fruit or size of baby? They are 16 w and the size of avocados!

How are you feeling? Rants/Raves? I'm feeling great, minus headaches. Claritin seems to help. I also blame the really early spring we are having here. I also need to eat something every two hours or I get shaky.

Prenatal appointment news/updates: Had our 16 w ultrasound today, since I'm having twins, I get more ultrasounds and we were able to do an early anatomy scan on both babies. The tech was able to see most things, but had a limited view on some things, so they will check again at our 20 week in a month. However, I did find out that I have an anterior placenta and that both babies share a placenta. We aren't finding out the sex however, they do think they are identical. They were moving around and we got a good pic of them kicking each other. I have a feeling it's two girls, however I could be wrong! I had a gut feeling we were having twins, so...

GTKY:Where is your dream vacation spot? Greece. It's been at the top of my list for a while now!

@cait5413 - I might have felt some flutters, but nothing I can without-a-doubt say is baby. Hopefully very very soon!! I really hate my anxious brain at times like this. Although this is my first pregnancy and I have zero reason for any extra concerns, I have many friends who have experienced infertility, losses, and terrible diagnoses while pregnant. I remember when my pregnant CW waltzed in at 6 weeks and announced that her doctor said she was out of the "danger zone" for a miscarriage and I just wanted to smack her. I wish I could be that clueless sometimes!

I am so so SO happy to almost be at the halfway point, and I cannot wait to start feeling baby move and kick. I definitely think that will help me chill out a little more between appointments!!

@Hummingbird125 You and I are in the same boat. Also FTM, also have anxious brain take over sometimes, especially after the 1st trimester queasiness ended and I couldn't feel anything from baby yet. I had felt a few taps before, hoping it was baby, but not being sure, but I have definitely felt more flutters the past couple days, so hopefully they are on the way for you, too. It's very comforting....EXCEPT they still come and go, so you can still get to the space where you're like, "I felt lots of flutters yesterday, why aren't there more today?" I think the anxious brain is just something we have to get used to as moms.

Thinking good thoughts for a great anatomy scan for us both--come on, next week!
