I wanted to thank ll of you lovely ladies and men.
When I started my journey I knew I was doing it on my own.
Due to the use of a donor, I knew I had to go through IUI to get pregnant.
I had read all about it, was as informed as good as one could be and was ready to start this journey.
What I didn't know is that I had PCOS and what that meant.
I didn't know that I needed hormone injections to get mature eggs and I had no idea I would end up going through IVF.
When started my first hormone shots with IUI I felt very much alone. No one in my family or any of my friends knew what I was talking about.
They all just pop out babies.
The most common thing that was being said was 'maybe you should get a husband', 'it's because you are doing it on your own'.
Again and again I had to explain that it is not the lack of a husband that I have to use hormone injections, its the lack of mature eggs.
I got really tired of explaining.
In November I started IVF and it was about the same time I joined you lovely ladies and men.
Boy have I felt welcomed here!
You all have been such a great support, cheered me on and let me feel that I am not completely alone.
You have given advice, shared your stories and understood where all the feelings, worries and exhaustion came from.
You are all amazing and I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. I could not have gone through some of these days without having your support.
Thank you!
Sending all of you lots and lots of babydust xoxo

In case you're planning on staying on the bump forums and moving over to the first trimester board you should know this: It isn't like this board at all. There are people who complain about being pregnant, people who wished they weren't and some who seem just crazy. I've been lurking over there for about a week, and I don't really feel comfortable with it yet. Maybe once I know that I have a tiny heartbeat it'll be easier.

Every time I see a BFP popping by on here I get all excited! So I was definitely thinking of staying a lurker here, as miracles do happen on this forum!
@AandDM2014 I'm not sure I am ready, or every be ready to hear about women complaining that they are pregnant. I don't mind the complaining about symptoms, as they are not always easy to handle..but to complain there is a little miracle growing inside you, that is just something I can not deal with. So thank you for the heads-up.
@twomommiestobe: Yes I finally got my BFP, see we are not to long apart from each other with due-dates!
@oxinfree: it is indeed over one hurdle unto the next...I had to google 'pregnant what now?' As I am absolutely clueless about this part. But my regular doctor, has already done his research to give me a propper follow up after IVF, so I feel like I am in good hands.
@msirni0, @tulips29 and @radmom27 thank you..I'll keep 'stalking' you girls a bit to see how your journey goes!
Now you made me cry too @dragonfaerie! Can't wait to see how you be doing in mai!
Keeping everything crossed for you on 15th March @nursetmd85
Not sure what your new protocol will be @dadezbomz, but I'll keep an eye out for you!
Let's get that trigger ready next week @starlight811! You've got this!
Keep going strong @srh18, I know your in your dreaded TWW, and those are torture. Find lots of things to do that make you happy! FX

@tvh1982 I agree with you that English is hard! Hopefully when you're ready to move over to that board it'll be helpful. I think I've only posted twice, as I just don't feel comfortable being there yet. Maybe after a few u/s I will!
