  We were told by the doctor that baby was on the large side and we could try to induce naturally before she induced us (which she ended up doing at 38 weeks.) So of course, this meant sex all the time for the last few weeks.
  
  DH could not go all the way in and the positions all had to be awkwardly revamped to allow for my giant belly. I thought it made things seriously unsexy but at the end of the day it was nice being that close with him. Not to mention we both knew it was going to be a 6 week dry spell after baby so we may as well enjoy while we could!

  Ugh, I'm 40+ and sex has been awful. I'm so swollen down there that it hurts and I don't feel sexy at all. My husband flipped out because he was at the doctor's appointment where she swept my membrane and she made a comment about touching the baby's head. He looked at his finger, then his crotch, and then his finger again with this horrified look on his face, lol. It just dawned on him that he was literally poking the baby in the head and that's why he couldn't go all the way in. We haven't had sex since!

  Yeah I think that's normal. Your cervix gets lower and more forward so it's easier for your partner to reach it.  Try spooning position, it gives more shallow penetration and the belly is kind of out of the way.

  Baby #5 here... and while im definitely not your "fun girl"... I try and keep DH satisfied and it helps reconnect too....
  That said... definitely spooning is the way to go... 
  And honestly... he's so happy to get my attention he wouldn't care how or when
