Hello all,
I'm no stranger to the bump, or even the IF board, however I only lurked here before. I've had PCOS since I was a teenager and was told by 2 different doctors that I would need some type of intervention to get pregnant. After trying on our own for 9 months (lurking on this board for 3 months), I got a BFP and had DS at 29 weeks. DH and I have been trying for just over a year with no success. I finally went to an RE and have started the process to get help TTC #2. I was given provera and had an egg count yesterday. I also started 50mg of Clomid and have an HSG (I'm a little nervous for that!) on Friday.
I've always known I would need help of I wanted more children, but just starting this journey has been a little daunting. I look forward to getting to know you and hearing any advice/support you have to offer.

Wow, you did fantastic with loosing 65lbs!
Honestly, don't think otherwise.
Is there a possibility to get a second opinion about possible treatment?
So you could start your journey?
Glad the HSG wasn't as bad for you either.
This whole journey is overwhelming, but the women here are a great support.
Keeping my fx for you.

My new doctor was definitely on board with me getting down under 200lbs, which is also my goal, but also didn't shut me down when it came to TTC. She was honest and tactful in that it might be more difficult, but she acknowledged I have a lot going on besides weight and that weight can't obviously be the only issue since plenty of women who are 220 pounds or larger get pregnant all the time. Best of luck to you.
So fingers crossed for NEXT month...
