Catching up on this thread but my thoughts thus far...
(1) Diagonal cutter here too. (2) I'm not nesting yet...I blame the fact that our bathroom is still a construction zone. (3) I'm also not leaking any bodily fluid yet (when I sneeze, laugh, etc.)...am I naive for thinking it won't happen? I also have no boob leakage so maybe I'm just a non-leaking pregnant specimen or is it too early to make that call and I'll look back at this post and laugh at myself? (4) I didn't think the GD test (or the drink) was all that bad...until it made me want to go into a deep coma sleep 45 minutes later. I didn't get dizzy or anything but I was like a bear entering hibernation or something. I thought it would make me hyper but turns out my body wants to sleep after a sugar overdoes?!? I passed the test so I guess it is fine but it was not what I was expecting.
@mkemommy I'm beyond jealous of you and anyone else who's boobs aren't leaking.... This shits getting ridiculous!! Lol
I feel like you can't win either way. Because I'm not leaking now I'm worried that I won't be able to breastfeed (it doesn't help that my mom, her mom and my sister all couldn't either...no milk supply). In fact my boobs have grown a little but honestly not more than 1/2 a cup size. Am I doomed?
Just heard from my doctor.... Passed the glucose test, yay! But I am slightly anemic. I need to start taking iron supplements as soon as I can get some.

Nope..Mine never have leaked before baby nor do they really get much bigger...after is a completely different story. I have BF two babies so far wth not problem. . I have a friend who has zero milk supply but her sister has 4 boys, all BF. There is no way to know until you try

Thank you...wish I could "love" this post more than once. My sister had zero supply with both her kids. My mother had some but it was minimal. They didn't do a lot of research on it / have support for it so I'm hoping with the right tools/support I'll be able to BF. My family keeps telling me I'm doomed, which doesn't help, and to supplement/switch to formula at the first sign of trouble. I plan on holding out (following doctor approval of course) to give it a good college try.
Any tips or suggestions to make this little dude turn. He's feet down fully breech and my bladder and cervix are sore from him using them as his own personal trampoline. When will be turn?!?! It's been two weeks like this yikessss.
In the meantime I want TOTS all the tots. Lol
I absolutely second the spinningbabies.com suggestion. My MW said that we don't have to worry about baby position until 32 weeks, but yeah, the cervix is not made to be a trampoline! You got this!

I only leaked the first time DH and I had sex after DS1 was born. It was probably about 12 weeks PP and in the end I was in a puddle of milk. That was the only time. I never needed nursing pads except for nipple comfort and to protect my bras from the nipple cream. I DS1 for 14 months and DS2 for 7. No leakage doesn't mean no milk

The opposite is true too. I used to have to wear nursing pads 24/7 when breastfeeding but had serious supply issues and made very little milk.
I'm sitting waiting for my blood draw after the glucose test...how is it possible that my appointments have gone to every 2 weeks?? I'm 26+2...this is just too soon.
Ladies you aren't making it easy to abstain from deli meat... I used to eat 2-3 wawa shorties a week... I haven't touched it since finding out I was pregnant and the one thing I've really been craving is an italian sub with all the fixings!!! That is what DH is bringing to the hospital for me to eat immediately after delivery!
My cousins wife (due in April) and I were discussing if we could eat a deli meat sub when we first go into labor... like before we get to the hospital... thoughts??

Hmm, an Italian sub to power you through labor sounds amazing. One potential holdup to that plan I see is what if you're one that gets sick during labor? Throwing up Italian sub sounds...not fun. Granted, that's a "what if" which equals "who the heck knows", so grain of salt and all that. On the other hand, if you are one that gets sick, you'll throw up regardless, so really, what does it matter?
I guess I don't really have much of a point except you do you, unless there's a medical reason not to eat the sub.
I thought I had until tomorrow to take my GD test. I was going to be really "good" today.
It is at 3:30 today. Not tomorrow
Better get a salad for lunch...
Mine is in an hour and I've had scrambled eggs with a little cheese and a celery stick with PB. I'm, of course, starving and nauseous.
It's too late but that was not a great plan! My endo says that you need steady carbs (in moderation) throughout the day. Skipping carbs at any meal or snack will cause your sugar to spike more when you do have them!

Well I had an enormous bowl of corn flakes and some valentine's day candy for breakfast...

Well crap. The nurse told me to avoid carbs and sugary stuff. Gah!! I'm borderline hypoglycemic anyway, so maybe it'll balance out? Or it'll just go nuts. Who knows. Guess we'll see.

I ma certainly no doctor so I'd follow your nurse's advice! I just know that when I test (4 times a day) if I skip carbs at a meal I am always screwed after the next meal even if I ate a reasonable portion of carbs.
Also, I know you don't want to hear this, but if you have GD you don't want to try to beat the test anyways. It sucks but is way better to be in the know and actively countering it. Good luck!
*whispers* I can't tell you how many subs I've eaten... *runs away*
At a baby shower the other day, I had a turkey sandwich. I ate it while H watched and just gave me "the look". I looked straight back at him, said "I won't get Listeria, I freaking want a turkey sandwich, and you can't stop me because we are in public." It was delicious. I've been craving Jimmy Johns for MONTHS.
@LilwatzI totally don't want to beat it!! I've never had issues in my previous PGs, so I'm not worried. I'm more concerned with how the glucola will make me feel, since I typically get very nauseous if I have a ton of sugar. And if I have GD, I'm more the type to worry when it happens and just go with it. But it's super helpful to know you're there and I'll have a place to ask questions!!
Re: Weekly Randoms go here...
I love this girl. She gets it
That is all.
I don't care if they are cut diagonally or straight down--as long as they are cut into four pieces when eating a grilled cheese.
(1) Diagonal cutter here too.

@ahernandez16I do. I really do.
@PBear93 Who doesn’t?!?!
@ahernandez16: I just....I can't.
