Its 9:45 in the morning and I've already cleaned my living room and kitchen. And DD ate all her breakfast which is a big win because her belly has been tore up all weekend. Its gonna be a good day.
I'll preface this by saying I still haven't dropped 25 lbs of baby weight from ds1, and I know this is a taboo issue, but I haven't gained any weight yet!!!
Finally got the 3 month old I babysit on some kind of schedule and she's taking naps today. Yay. Yesterday she refused to sleep pretty much all day. It almost makes up for DD deciding she doesn't need a morning nap anymore.
I spoke to my boss about the fact my co worker is driving me up a wall (we share a cubicle, and she mutters and swears to herself CONSTANTLY, and gets equally annoyed when you respond to her as when you don't) and he is letting me take over the conference room as my office until I am done pumping. Two birds, one stone. Legally they are obligated to provide a private space for me to pump in a few months, and this way I won't loose my damn mind before then.
I had enough energy to hit the gym over lunch. Granted, the scale this morning showing a total of 8 lbs gained so far freaked me out and is probably the reason I went, but I STILL WENT! And, it felt pretty good!
I gardened!!! We just bought our first house and the last people did nothing with the flower beds! So I raked them out and put the stuff in bags!! My first time gardening and I'm hoping it counts as a workout!
Today is my last day of training to become an official CASA Volunteer (Court Appointed Special Advocate - advocating for children in the foster system)! The last 5 Tuesdays have been super long, as I work from 8-5 and then I've been in this training class from 5:30-8:30, so I'm SO EXCITED to be done after tonight and be able to get out there and start helping kids. Yippy!!

I had my anatomy scan today. We don't want to know boy/girl until the delivery room and I had the self control to not peak when they told me to look away! It was so tempting to peak! Yeah team green!
I finally bought a new ironing board. My old one was one of those table-top ones I had since college. I didn't do enough ironing to really justify the purchase of a new one, but saw a nice mid-sized one at IKEA. So, I got it.
Also got new curtains for our bedroom after 2 years of old nasty ones.
I finally got the courage to purchase a crib. It should be here by the end of the month!
Now on to a mattress... (Very daunting task after reading all those safety requirements. How did our genderation survive without all those safety requirements?!)

We got the Sealy Soybean Foam-Core mattress on Amazon for DS, and we loved it. He always seemed perfectly comfortable, it's easy to clean, and it holds its shape. We'll be using it for this baby. The reviews are glowing. It's going for $154. I'd recommend it!
Re: Small Victory Tuesday! 3/8
Today I was able to eat two real meals instead of zero to one (for the first time I caught that stoopid cold).
