Upcoming appointments? Next appt is our 16 week on the 31st.
Rants/Raves/Questions? The weather is really warmed up this week, and I'm feeling back to myself. It's so nice to get out with DD and our pup, and I just feel overall happier/in a better mood.
GTKY: If you could choose to do anything for a day, what would it be?
Go to the beach and relax. I need a good vacation, but it's not happening this year because DH needs to save all his time off for after the baby is born. He took 3 weeks off with DD, and the plan is to do the same this time. He had a lot more time saved before she was born than he does now. But I'm already mentally planning a vacation for next year.
How many weeks? 13! Hello 2nd trimester!

Upcoming appointments? Not until APril 1st, I just had one on Friday
Rants/Raves/Questions? Raves: We found out yesterday after 3 boys we are having a healthy little GIRL! Rants: My doc does u/s every appointment instead of using a doppler, score! But Friday it took her a while to get a good view of the baby which of course I couldn't tell. I thought she couldn't find her at all and started freaking out. I guess I have a ton of scar tissue from my past 2 c/s.
GTKY: If you could choose to do anything for a day, what would it be? See my BFF one last time. Or at least talk to her on the phone.
How many weeks? 14 - how is that even possible?? Definitely in the 2nd tri now, however you count it

Upcoming appointments? Not until 3/23, regular OB appointment. The big one is 4/20 for my anatomy scan
Rants/Raves/Questions? Rant - all this snacking, no moving and no nausea is leading to pretty quick weight gain. I'm up about 8-9 pounds, which is not a huge deal, but hoping to stay at this weight until my appointment in 2 weeks. Time to get moving!
GTKY: If you could choose to do anything for a day, what would it be? Hmmm, that's hard. I guess I'd want to spend it outdoors with family

Upcoming Appointments: This Thursday we have our first actual appointment with OB after our initial US. If all goes well, I'll be ready to start telling friends
Raves/Rants/Questions? A few things. First I did the Sneak Peek test this weekend and it was a nightmare. They need so much blood from a finger stick it is crazy. I know how to work blood out of a finger and by the time I collected enough the sample was pretty clotted. I got an email yesterday that they received the sample yesterday, so if they are able to use it I should have a result today. I'll let you know how it goes. I know there are people secretly hoping the result turns out wrong
Also, a feel bad about venting about my dog yesterday. Today, she is being a total sweet pea
Symptoms/cravings/aversions? The only real aversion is spicy things. As far as cravings, I picked up a package of tasty cake chocolate cupcakes this weekend and they are everything. Also, and warning for TMI, last night there was something that looked like a nose snot in my underwear. WTF is that???
if you could choose to do anything for a day, what would it be? something I always wanted to do, but don't think I would ever get a chance to is spend a day at an archaeological dig in Egypt. I've always had an interest in ancient Egypt and I think it would be so cool
I've been having milk leakage, too. Not during sex, but it's happening for sure. Had a bit of supply problem in the beginning with DD, so I'm hoping this is a sign my milk will come in plentiful this time.

Rants/Raves/Questions? I swear on all that is holy that I felt the baby move twice this last week. I tried to talk myself out of it, but it's pretty undeniable. A teeny little *poke... poke poke* waaaaay down low and on two separate occasions. I still feel half crazy, but it's exactly what I felt when I first felt my son begin to move. Wild.
GTKY: If you could choose to do anything for a day, what would it be? I think I'd take my husband back to where we went on our honeymoon for a day. It was wonderful.

Rants/Raves/Randoms? @rfrazier611 Me too! I was going to say three times since Friday, I've felt very slight flutters, twinges, etc. very low. This is my third pregnancy. If I didn't feel it before, I probably wouldn't think twice. I also thought I was nuts. Maybe it is possible?
Also, I'm anxiously awaiting my best friend to have her third baby. She's due this week and if she doesn't have the baby by Friday, they have an induction planned. I'll be going to the hospital once the baby is born to try to capture some Fresh 48 photos for the family. I'm super excited.
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions: Symptoms seem to be easing up. Not craving too much. I loaded up on junk last week and I can barely look at it. The aversions are annoying.
GTKY: I'd either take a mini vacation to somewhere warm with a beach or I'd be a tourist in my own city (Chicago). My husband and I were supposed to do that for my birthday last year, but plans got all screwed up.

Upcoming appointments? My 2nd appointment is a week from today. It still seems so far! I can't wait to hear baby's heartbeat
Rants/Raves/Questions? Yesterday a coworker posted a yummy looking dessert on FB. I commented ooh make sure you remember your favorite next-door coworkers if you make this! And she responded "especially those who are expecting!" Dude, wtf!? I have not announced to the general public at work or even to my friends. She knows because we had a girls' night that involved alcohol so I just decided to spill the beans. I pmed her and she deleted it (I deleted my comment first so people wouldn't know who hers was in response to) and then she apologized profusely this morning. She "thought people knew" How? I haven't made any announcements, I don't really look pregnant. Geez! So annoying.
GTKY: If you could choose to do anything for a day, what would it be? I'd spend a day either at Universal Studios because I just LOVE wandering around HP world, or I'd go to the Atlantis in the Bahamas. I love their water park. Those sound most appealing right now

Rants/Raves/Questions? I'm so tired of being sick. It was stomach flu/food poisoning/gastrointestinal misery last weekend, and now it feels like I have a nice sinus infection going on. No fever yet and I'm hoping it stays that way so I don't have to start choking down horse antibiotics.

Upcoming appointments? Just had a routine appointment today and will have my next one at 17 weeks. Scheduled my anatomy scan for April 26th and I can't wait!
Rants/Raves/Questions? I guess this is a bit of a rant. Starting in college and through the years, I have struggled with anxiety. I will go on medication for about a year and will then be fine off medication for two or three years before the anxiety starts to get to me again. The one exception to that pattern is when I'm pregnant, where I always struggle with anxiety. This time it is hitting earlier and worse. I don't want to go on medication, but I hate the thought of spending my entire pregnancy worried and obsessive, which is the way I become when things aren't under control. The only one who is probably less excited about this is my poor DH...My obsessive anxiety usually manifests itself in things like, "why haven't you gotten that project done...you said you'd have it done last week...you're never going to get it done, are you?" Poor guy.
GTKY: If you could choose to do anything for a day, what would it be? Be the lead in a Broadway musical. Weird, I know.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Had a great ultrasound yesterday! This was a follow up since my uterus appeared heart shaped at last week's. Yesterday it looked fine. I was measuring 11 weeks 1 day. My edd is all over the place with various ultrasound measurements, LMP, IUI date... Just going to stick with Tuesday ticker change! We decided to start telling family and i got to tell my mom and sister last night. My sister is so sweet and said she saved me a few things from her pregnancy (2 yrs ago). I've got a body pillow, belly band, and some maternity clothes coming my way

Breakfast with a good friend or my mom back in Chicago, spend the afternoon relaxing in hammock somewhere tropical with a fruity cocktail, dinner with my dad, and a night in a nice hotel with DH. Ordering late night room service, eating gummy bears in bed (our vacation tradition) watching tv and other stuff
