I know this will not be for everyone, and that's okay.. but I thought I'd put it out there anyways. It also would involve addresses to work so if you're not okay with that I wouldn't read much further into this. With that being said I started thinking about those of us who may have old baby things we can no longer use or even say new things that we just don't want/can't use/have too many of, etc. and wouldn't mind passing them along to someone who could use them. Kind of like the a yard sale just via internet. If that makes sense.

For example.. back when I first learned we were expecting my neighbor was excited and had a bunch of baby things she wanted to give away. She has a boy so her things were all boy or I guess neutral so I accepted some clothes from her. Well now that I know for sure my LO is a girl I have some new born and other small sizes of boy clothes that I have no need for what so ever. Sure I could take them to goodwill or try to hang onto them until I run into someone having a boy but I thought maybe it would be worth a shot seeing if any of you ladies on our May board would want them and I could mail them to you. But I know giving home address via the internet freaks some people out, which I totally understand. Like I said, not for everyone!

So if you ARE interested, please let me know. Also this goes for any of you ladies that may have things you want to get rid of that another fellow mom could benefit from then you can post the pictures on here and if someone is interested just have them contact you. Of course all of these things should not come with a price tag and should be first come, first serve. So if you are wanting money for items then I wouldn't post them here. Those types of things are better to sell face to face or using a legit website for that sole purpose. Anyway... just thought I'd see if anyone was even interested in this and if not, its okay. I will not be offended. Just an idea to help out others.

    Nice idea, but I'm in Mexico and our mail is less than reliable. :neutral:

    I love this idea! I was thinking of something similar but maybe about registry swapping after everyone's baby shower where we could switch off and get something that was left which would send it directly to the person's address for us that way other people wouldn't have any personal information other than a last name to look up on the website.
