EBF Poop Changes

My LO is 22 weeks and the past week her poop has changed. I feed on demand when in her presence and pump while away at work. Her changes started happening last Sunday. It went from seedy, yellow to green with a little mucus. I thought it was from the pasta I ate but her frequency and the color has remained that way. Well she just had a yellow, seedy but runny bowel movement. 

I also noticed that she is now punching herself in the mouth and her saliva has increased. Which makes me believe it's teething related. 

Has your child's pipes changed with teething? If so, how?

    I believe excess saliva can make the poop a little green. I EBF as well and once in awhile it happens to LO when she is extra drooly. Just keep an eye on it and if it's consistent maybe get her checked out.

    Could sure be teething. I wanted to share my experience just in case: my LO was EBF and her poops changed from normal yellow seedy to green mucousy poops. Then they started getting almost stringy-like. We saw four different doctors total: a pediatrician, our family doctor, a pediatric gastroenterologist, and a pediatric allergist. For MONTHS the doctors kept telling me it was bc LO probably had a dairy and soy allergy. We finally got in to see the allergist who tested LO and found absolutely no allergy to dairy soy or any of the most common allergens. I finally got wise and demanded our family doctor test a stool sample - she reluctantly agreed and I could tell was simply doing it bc I asked... Well get this, they called hours after the stool sample was submitted and my LO was positive for C-Diff infection!!!! A serious, sometimes fatal infection! Thank God I had requested they do a damn stool sample! Baffles me why these doc's wouldn't have just done one the first time I went in complaining about her poops changing so drastically. Just wanted to throw it out there that they can do a simple stool sample that can give you some peace of mind and just make sure all the serious type things come back negative. Doesn't hurt, right?
