DD has started waking up at night (had been sleep through the night since week 8), drooling and chewing on EVERYTHING. I looked today and... At 14.5 weeks?!? That seems so early! Anyone else see signs of teething or had babies with early teeth?
DD is not showing signs of teething yet, but my son had two teeth by the time he was three months. It's hard when they're that young, because they can't really hold a teether very well. We relied on Tylenol and would wet a wash cloth and put in the freezer for a little. He really enjoyed chewing on that. Good luck!!!
My DD got her first teeth at 10 weeks (last week). Her two bottom teeth are now completely in! So, yes, it is possible for it to happen this early. However, some babies can show teething symptoms for weeks or months before anything actually happens so it's hard to know for sure when they will come. Also, drooling and hand chewing is normal for babies this age regardless of teething. My DD was SUPER fussy for about a week, and now things are back to normal now that the teeth are in. She may have been experiencing teething symptoms for weeks and I just didn't attribute it to teething. We went straight from colic to teething with only one week of relief in between, so I am hoping things settle down for a bit.
My mom kept insisting my DS was teething but I figured 11 weeks was too young. Until he started to get really fussy, which he never did before and sure enough he's getting the same teeth in. It's been really hard. He doesn't chew too much so we can't always sooth it with a tether and I'm afraid of over doing the Tylenol. I can't tell when he's just fussy or actually in pain. I feel so bad they're so little.
I was just doing to post about this. My son is 13.5 weeks and for the past two days he refuses to eat often but instead chews his hand. He has been drooling for the past 3 weeks like crazy. He also had been chewing on any piece of cloth he can find. He barely ate this morning but when I put my finger in his mouth he was happily chewing on it. I don't see or feel any teeth though, so I'm not sure
