I thought I would have a few more weeks before my shoes stopped fitting and I have to take my wedding ring off with soap. Ugh! How do you battle or deal with swollen hands and feet in the third trimester?
I've noticed my hands especially have started getting swollen lately. I might take my rings off soon. With my last pregnancy, I was swollen almost from the beginning and had to have my wedding rings cut off my finger at the beginning of my second trimester. I also could only wear flip flops by about this time. Things have been much better in the swelling department this time around, I'm thinking since most of my pregnancy has been over fall/winter (vs. spring/summer) it has helped keep some of the swelling at bay.
My wedding bands haven't fit since week 14 And over the weekend I realized my shoes were tight when I put them on. None of this is helpful information as to your question...I'm just commiserating.
I drink a ton of water throughout the day which I think has helped me. I just started to swell slightly this weekend and finally took my wedding ring off. I hate that I had to take it off. But I didn't want it to be too late. I just started walking again this weekend. Not a long walk but we will see if helps keep my swelling down. I haven't had much swelling in my feet or ankles so thank god for that.
