Hello ladies!
I may be jumping the gun- as my little lady hasn't come out just yet. However, my certain someone and I are planning on taking her to Russia to meet the grandparents. I'm wondering- does anyone know when would be ideal to travel a 12 hour flight with a baby? Of course considering her temperament and health as a factor at that time.
Thanks!

Re: At what age can baby fly internationally?
Hope that helps!
We flew from Chicago to England when my son was about 3 months old. Remember, you need to time getting a passport as well. The flight was fine, he slept the whole way there and back.
I keep hearing people say the younger the easier, as they just sleep/eat/poop. Gets harder once they get bored. We have a long haul flight in January ahead of us from Australia to Europe, so that will be interesting. I guess I can find out for myself then :-)
So I guess it's true, that sooner rather than later applies :-)
The 1.5 hour trip with a toddler was torture compared to the 5 hour trip with a baby. The longer trip wasn't perfect, but at least he would nurse and fall asleep and cuddle. The 1.5 hour trip, he just wanted to be running around.
