Week/Fruit: 32/squash (TB needs to fire whoever is coming up with these comparisons)
Rants / Raves / Symptoms: Sleep is a thing of the past! Leg cramps are frequent along with boob leakage. Little guy loves rolling around in there and it is fun to watch my stomach as he does so.
Upcoming Appointments: Today for a growth check!
Questions for the group: None today
GTKY: Are you doing newborn photos? If so, any plans for the outfits you'll have LO in?
We are going to and have them all booked already. I was thinking about doing mostly naked but wanted to do a couple with some cute pants on. Maybe a onesie or two? I have no idea really!
Rants / Raves / Symptoms: He's getting stronger! And I can't breath. I keep waking up in the middle of the night short of breath. Good times.
Upcoming Appointments: Next week, normal OB.
Questions for the group: Nope.
GTKY: Are you doing newborn photos? If so, any plans for the outfits you'll have LO in? Nothing formal planned. We will probably take some pictures, but I haven't even begun to think about what he would wear .
Rants / Raves / Symptoms: Love every time she kicks me. She has wedged something under my ribs. Feeling huge and really tired!
Upcoming Appointments: Thursday. Think they're going to do a sonogram. Haven't seen her since December.
Questions for the group: What's been the most challenging change for you? For me, it's been having to let other people do things for me because I shouldn't be or I'm physically incapable.
GTKY: Are you doing newborn photos? If so, any plans for the outfits you'll have LO in? I will probably just take my own since I do photography. I don't have an outfitted planned yet.
Rants / Raves / Symptoms: I feel really big all of a sudden. And I'm just annoyed with it. I don't feel unsteady or in pain or anything, just...bulbous. Also: I'm going on a work trip on Friday-Monday. I'm really wishing I had bowed out of this as I have to give a giant talk in front of several hundred people and I'm just not feeling up to being on display like that..
Upcoming Appointments: Next week, standard appt. They consist of a blood draw, weigh-in and brief chat with the doctor. I'm wondering about a "growth scan" but I haven't heard the doc mention anything.
Questions for the group:
GTKY: Are you doing newborn photos? If so, any plans for the outfits you'll have LO in? No formal plans. My sister is a really good amateur photographer (has a nice camera, etc.) and when she comes I may ask her to take a few.
Raves: Feeling baby move, though it is less now than it was. He was transverse, today I found out he is head down so that might be why I feel less.
Symptoms: Tired. Other than that, not many at all!
Upcoming Appointments: I had an appointment this morning. They ended up doing an NST because I told them I hadn't felt him move as much as usual. They had me drink some apple juice and boy did that wake him up. He was going nuts! All seems well. She is not happy with my weight gain, I only gained two pounds since my last appointment a month ago. She said she wants me to fatten up. Since I am so small and not gaining a lot, she also scheduled a growth scan for my next appointment, just to make sure he is growing as he should. By my fundal height, she said everything is right on track. She wants me to gain more than two pounds by my next appointment or I need to see a nutritionist, so I have to work on that. Next appointment is March 21!
Questions for the group: No questions really.
GTKY: Are you doing newborn photos? If so, any plans for the outfits you'll have LO in?
We are doing newborn photos. As far a outfits, I'm not really sure. I know I am going to have my aunt crocket a Thor outfit, so we can have some pictures done in that. I also wanted a ninja turtle one, but I don't want to ask her to make both and I'm not sure I could after to pay for someone else to make the turtle one. We shall see.

@AdorkablePixie My H is OBSESSED with TMNT. Every time we go shopping for baby stuff I always find something TMNT that he has snuck into the cart and buried under other things so I don't catch him!
@sarawifenow That sounds just like my DH! lol He loves TMNT. His mom even got him a TMNT blanket for Christmas. He always complains about how small it is and I'm like yes, because it's a child's blanket. lol!

Rants / Raves / Symptoms: have had a bad headache for days that landed me in L&D for monitoring but no pre eclampsia as of now so we will just keep monitoring. I go to the doctor a lot now (2 NSTs and a regular appointment each week) so I feel confident they will catch it.
Raves: we are getting so close to meeting our baby girls! I can't wait
Upcoming Appointments: today for a growth scan and NST, tomorrow for our regular check up, and Thursday for a NST.
Questions for the group: when are you installing car seats and washing clothes? Feel like I should do that now
GTKY: Are you doing newborn photos? If so, any plans for the outfits you'll have LO in? Yes! And our photographer supplies a lot but I will probably bring a few things that I would like them to wear too. Not sure what yet. Gotta surf etsy this week
Rants / Raves / Symptoms: This week has been quite eventful! My appointment last week I found out that I have high amniotic fluid (polyhydramnios) and I'll have to get NST's twice a week starting at 32w. I'm getting so uncomfortable and worn out doing simple tasks. I lost my mucus plug on Saturday morning (which I know doesn't mean much) and my boobs started leaking a tad yesterday. I feel pregnant, that's for sure!
Upcoming Appointments: Next Monday.....I don't expect it to be anything out of the ordinary.
Questions for the group: How often do you walk and do you think it makes a difference in how you are feeling?
GTKY: Are you doing newborn photos? If so, any plans for the outfits you'll have LO in? We are using the same photographer that we've used for years. I only have a swaddle blanket and a few headbands for LO right now. I want more naked pictures with time.
Week/Fruit: 32w/squash? Like butternut, acorn...what are we talking about here?
Rants / Raves / Symptoms: After lots of milk alternative experimentation this weekend (from coconut to almond to hemp...yes hemp milk) I have landed on good ol' Lactaid, which MH says tastes like the powdered milk he used to drink as a kid. I have no idea what he is talking about, but it works for me. No more diarrhea, much less acid reflux, and my burps don't taste like butt so I am one happy camper!
Upcoming Appointments: We are the every 2-week cycle so my next appointment is next Tuesday. Everything is looking good!
Questions for the group: What is the best relief you guys have found if you sit at a desk so that you don't get up and walk around like a cowboy? It is not even my hips that are sore, it is my actual external genitalia that are sore and so so painful. I am thinking maybe one of those donut pillows to relieve pressure on the area? Anyone found relief?
GTKY: Are you doing newborn photos? If so, any plans for the outfits you'll have LO in? Not planning on NB photos. We didn't with my son, but I know we will have quite a few family photogs and all of our phones will be filled to the brim with photos of my Bella Luna!
Questions for the group: What's been the most challenging change for you? For me, it's been having to let other people do things for me because I shouldn't be or I'm physically incapable.
I just can't believe how out of shape I'm feeling this time around. Last pregnancy I remember going to the zoo all day at 40w and feeling great. We went to a museum over the weekend and I had to take numerous breaks and sat down when I could.
Rants / Raves / Symptoms: Feeling pretty sluggish when I try to walk at a quick pace or go up stairs. I love feeling his movements even when they're semi-painful karate chops or kicks to the ribs. My higher dose of Zantac and better timed meals has really helped with reflux.
Upcoming Appointments: March 18 for my checkup... every two week appts began last week.
Questions for the group: none right now!
GTKY: Are you doing newborn photos? We aren't doing newborn photos... I should save this for UO Thur but I'm just not a huge fan of the Anne Geddes style staged infant pics. I'd like to wait until baby is ~6 months and then do some family portraits. Also will give me a chance to get back to feeling and looking more "normal."
Questions for the group: How often do you walk and do you think it makes a difference in how you are feeling?
I have been walking about 20-30min a day, either outside around the block or on the treadmill (the device formally known as my extra closet). I know I should do more, but it is still making a HUGE difference. I have a warped frame of reference because at this time with my first pregnancy I was on bed rest, but I am shocked at how relatively great I feel physically. I can chase after my son, move around, and my insomnia is starting to abate (especially now that I am only getting up to pee, not poop, and I think even still sleeping while I do that!). All-in-all I would recommend adding a little activity to your day, even if you are feeling exhausted. I know for me I was more mentally and emotionally exhausted than physically exhausted so once I started working those large muscle groups and tiring myself out, I didn't have the physical energy to worry as much or give in to my anxiety.

This sounds like a great regiment. I really wish we had a treadmill! Last time, I was in 3rd tri in the summer and I was always walking....this time it's a different story. I plan to make the most of this spring weather coming up and getting out as much as I can. I'm sure it'll make me feel a heck of a lot better!

It is not even my hips that are sore, it is my actual external genitalia that are sore and so so painful. I am thinking maybe one of those donut pillows to relieve pressure on the area? Anyone found relief?
This isn't going to be helpful, but I felt so sore "down there" for a week straight about 2 weeks ago. I thought it was going to be my new normal, but then it just went away. I have no idea why....maybe LO moved positions? I was just about to bring a pillow into work when it went away....I would try that first!
Questions for the group: when are you installing car seats and washing clothes? Feel like I should do that now
We just had our shower and did not receive the carseat (which we expected) so we'll probably buy ours in the next few weeks and install it whenever it arrives. I am also about to buy free/clear laundry detergent to start washing the sheets, towels and baby clothes and will probably begin doing that over the next couple of weeks as well.
Hello!! I have decided to crash the Monday board from now on...I'm technically Sunday but I never manage to get to a computer in time to post on Sundays, and TB mobile puts more restrictions on my ability to do/say/post/like things than my parents did when I was a toddler. Hope no one minds!
Week/Fruit: 32/random fruit that has no resemblance to the size of my baby
Rants / Raves / Symptoms: Definitely having trouble catching my breath. I had to finally concede yesterday that I can't go to spin class anymore...it's just too much. This was tough for me because I've been religious about it. I'm going to start adding walking into my routine as well as yoga.
Upcoming Appointments: March 17th for a routine 2 week visit.
Questions for the group: no questions, a few answers...What's been the most challenging change for you? For me, it's been having to let other people do things for me because I shouldn't be or I'm physically incapable. Me too!!! I had a very hard time accepting my new limitations as I get bigger, and more tired. I am trying to remind myself that it's temporary. when are you installing car seats and washing clothes? Feel like I should do that now. We washed some clothes yesterday...I bought a big box of random 0-3 clothes off someone in my FB Mommy group so those got washed. My shower is in 2 weeks, after which I'll have a car seat & probably go have it installed right away so that if baby decides to make an early arrival I won't have to worry about it. What is the best relief you guys have found if you sit at a desk so that you don't get up and walk around like a cowboy? I got nothin' for you. I do the cowboy walk with pride. I'm also surprised my arms aren't incredibly toned by this point, since I have to use them to heave my butt out of any sitting/laying position.
GTKY: Are you doing newborn photos? If so, any plans for the outfits you'll have LO in? No photos here. They unfortunately ended up on the "not fiscally responsible" list at this point because our house needed a lot of repairs to be baby-ready. I hope I don't regret it, but you can't do everything. Besides, my husband was a photographer for the Navy & has a nice camera, so I think we'll be content with what we take on our own.
Questions for the group: when are you installing car seats and washing clothes? Feel like I should do that now
@SunshinebinsWe will probably install the base around 37/38 weeks. As for washing clothes, I washed newborn stuff and 0-3 months this past weekend so I could start organizing drawers.
I don't plan on installing the car seat or washing anything until around 37w.
Please get your car seat installation checked by a local fire station! They are very knowledgable and will give you some piece of mind that you installed it correctly :-)
Rants / Raves / Symptoms: LO is showing some strength with her stretching and movements. Gotta say it's quite painful.
Upcoming Appointments: March 18th (every 2 weeks now)
Questions for the group:
GTKY: Are you doing newborn photos? If so, any plans for the outfits you'll have LO in? Yes. Our photographer mostly does nude, diaper, swaddled, etc pics. I guess if I wanted to I could have her in an outfit but with DD1 she did more headbands and put her on soft blankets or props and such. Our photographer likes to get shots that are more natural and not posy posy.

I walk about 3-4 miles a day as we walk our dog twice a day. I do feel much better when I walk. My husband and I often walk together and it's good connecting time, so there's that. But I also feel more mobile the more I walk. If I go even a day without it (i.e. hubby does the dog walking alone) I feel more stiff.
Rants:surprisingly, I can't think of one.. Raves: Baby movement..and being one week closer to holding her! Symptoms: swelling showed it's ugly head..I was just fine without it. General discomfort and insomnia.
Upcoming Appointments: Thursday
Questions for the group: Does anyone have any upcoming ultrasounds, or know when the next one possibly is? Seems like forever since I've had one...
GTKY: Are you doing newborn photos? If so, any plans for the outfits you'll have LO in?
The hospital baby is being born at has an outside photographer come to the hospital if you so choose. I think it'll be easier if I just pack some cute outfits to bring with at the hospital and have photos taken there. I know they work it like a studio session, and they seem to be good quality as well. As far as what exact outfits, I'm not sure. Hoping Pinterest can help me out with this one
@folamijAs far as I know OB's typically only do 2 for a regular (non-high risk) pg. I've already had mine which makes me super sad bc I had tons and tons with DD1 since I was high risk.

I am with you @doozer1345 I got so used to seeing my son pretty much every week that it is weird that the last pics I have of my little lady are from the anatomy scan waaaaaay back in October! Don't get me wrong, I am glad I am not having a HR pregnancy this time (hugs and prayers to those who are), but I did like getting to see my dude on US. Also, I was going through bills last night (I hate being an adult!) and I had to shell out over $300 total on my US this pregnancy. I guess I just didn't care about the cost last time because I was so freaked out, but now I'm almost regretting the time I demanded an US in the ER when I was in for HG.
@folamij Like @doozer1345 said, it's not all that common to have more than two unless there is an issue. Sometimes they will do a growth ultrasound if they're concerned about babies growth. I have one at my next appointment on March 21 because the midwife is concerned that I haven't gained a lot of weight (even though I am measuring right on track as far as fundal height goes).

Rants / Raves / Symptoms: All raves! Still feeling good, love feeling those kicks, and we turned off the heat at our house today!
Upcoming Appointments: Nothing until my next regular OB appointment on March 21.

GTKY: Are you doing newborn photos? If so, any plans for the outfits you'll have LO in? YES, and I can't wait. I love those silly brand-new baby photos. I want all the bows and tutus!
@YouGoGlenCoco31 First, awesome name! Second, yes there are like 4 "squashes" in TB size comparison guide. I am at 32wks and also a squash of some variety. It is very confusing.
Rants / Raves / Symptoms: Baby loves to kick... from 3-4am it seems like. Also, the belly is seriously limiting my workouts.

@aehogan90 What's been the most challenging change for you? Probably realizing my body isn't just mine right now, and I can't always do what I want because it could have an impact on the baby.
rants/raves/sx: fatigue, aches/pains, leg cramps... I'm working on it but it seems a constant battle to take care of this very high maintenance pregnant body!!
appointments: tomorrow; I'm going to ask my OB about adding a potassium supplant of some kind to help w/ leg cramps...
?: none
GTKY: yes to NB picks; my niece is a photographer and I think she is more excited than I am!

Please get your car seat installation checked by a local fire station! They are very knowledgable and will give you some piece of mind that you installed it correctly :-)
