Hi! I have been horrible at checking in over here! We moved on to IVF and are in the middle of stims now, with the transfer potentially being at the beginning / mid April.

An ideal date for me is spending time doing some thing active, a walk thru the park or something, then a quiet dinner. Something low key.
Married May 2009, TTC since November 2012 (Together since 2006 ish - had my eyes on him since 2001)
Me: 32 (33 in May), Him: 37 (January)

DX: Me: High Prolactin, Possible Autoimmune Disease Issues, though RE not concerned (?)  New RE has a plan!!
Him: Minor Varicocele, low morphology, slightly low count

    History:

    Beta 5/9/2016 BFP!!
Embryo transfer scheduled for April 28, 2016 and beta test May 9, 2016 (day after Mother's Day!)
Transfer Meds include: Lupron Depot (4/1), Minivelle Patch (every 3rd day), Estradiol (3x daily), Amoxicillin, Progesterone in Oil, Methylprednisonlone. Lovenox and baby asprin added after transfer.

3/22/16 - Sono Saline ultrasound cyst to be aspirated on 4/1/16 if not cleared up by 3/29 US - It cleared on its own
    Retrieval 3/4/16 - 26 eggs retrieved, 23 mature, 20 fertilized, 14 embryos currently frozen
Starting IVF Stims on +/- Feb 22, 2016
HSG scheduled for 1-26-16 - All clear "beautiful uterus" (though inverted)

Switched clinics and now prepping for IVF in February / March

    Fourth IUI -  CD3-7 100 Clomid w/ Ovidrel Trigger - December, 2015 - BFN
    Third IUI -  CD3-7 100 Clomid w/ Ovidrel Trigger - November, 2015 - BFN
    Second IUI - CD3-7 100 Clomid w/ Ovidrel Trigger - September, 2015 - BFN
Started Prolactin Medication October 15 - Levels quickly regulated to with in normal range
    First IUI - CD3-7 100 Clomid w/ Ovidrel Trigger - August, 2015 - BFN
After no BFPs (ever) First RE/Urologist visit in Feb 2015
    HSG w/ OB, 2014 = all clear
Trying to conceive since November 2012

Good Morning! We met with our RE on Friday afternoon and although I really liked him, he is giving us a referral to another RE that is stronger in the MFI field. We did talk about IUI being our next option. He said it won't take long to get an appointment and to expect one within the month of March. So I am looking forward to that.

I am still reading that 'Making Babies' book and really enjoying it. Even if you aren't into the Chinese medicine approach, I think it is really informative!

QOTW: What do you consider an "ideal date" with a loved one? Making some good snack food together (like chicken wings and nachos) and playing board games in our PJ's.

    Me: 30 DH: 33

    Married: February 15, 2013

    TCC: October 2013

    MFI- low count/morphology

May / June 2016- Monitored cycle and TI- BFN

    June / July 2016- Gonal-F + IUI #1- BFN

I might be O'ing today, and if I do, we had good timing. This is 1/3 cycles that we are trying with just acupuncture/TCM before starting testing. We went away this past weekend and enjoyed relaxed, vacation-style FW sex :)

QOTW: eating good food, going for a walk or hike, relaxing and watching the sunset.

I started AF on Friday on 13dpiui so I got my BFN a day early.  After 2 failed IUIs, DH and I decided to move on to IVF.  @GoldenKeys, I guess it's time to update my treatment plan again, sorry about that!  I'm looking forward to not doing anymore IUI cycles.  With a 10% or less chance of success with our MFI issues, it just isn't worth putting ourselves through that anymore.  We have an appointment to meet with our RE on March 15th to figure out a plan.

An ideal date for us is going to a Disney park :)

I'm at 11dpiui here. Really don't have faith that it worked though. It's my sixth one!!

Qotw: outdoor activities and then sushi with a bottle of wine. I haven't done that in a really long time.

Hello...af is on her way for me.  I'm spotting pink now, and I've been doing this long enough to not hope its" implantation".  I'm on day 23.  I usually have a 26 to 27 day cycle. ..but judging from cm alone with month I think I ovulated earlier than usual. ..I decided not to temp this month, but will going forward cause it drove we crazy this cycle to not be able to for sure say what day I ovulated on.
My husband has an SA on March 10th, and from there we move on to our first IUI.   He was so hoping we'd get a miracle. I had a feeling this wasn't our month.

A perfect date for me is a walk by the waterfront. ..any waterfront and lunch outside by the water:)

Today is 10dpiui for me so beta is this Friday. I'm not feeling any different than usual and I'm not holding out too much hope for this cycle. DH got a new job and his new insurance doesn't kick in until April 1st. We are unsure of exactly what benefits we will have so I think we are gonna take the month off and start with IVF in April.

QOTW: DH and I are foodies so any good restaurant and then back home to get in comfy PJs and just hang out, pretty low key.

Last cycle of clomid from obgyn was a fail this month I got a positive test thursday but according to blood work and AF Showing her face it was determined to be chemical. We are now on hold for 3-6 months while I get my glucose levels a little tighter (need to lower my A1c) feeling really down and cried a lot yesterday. This is so hard! And being told to wait SUCKS! IUI is next when we can start again.

Ideal date: Any date alone with DH with a house of 7 any alone time is nice, but dinner and bowling or cooking is fun!!
  • Options
It's CD 1 for me....so prepping for yet another IUI....same plan as last cycle....letrozole 2.5mg cd 5-9 and estradiol 2 mg cd 5-16....US is scheduled for March 10th for follicle check then if that goes well IUI #5 will be March 12th.

My ideal date would be spending the day downtown...eating, shopping and catching a baseball game or concert.

    Update:
Have a prescription for Progesterone to kick-start AF. I am starting it on March 5th because DH and I wanted to wait the two weeks after the last time we "tried" in order to ensure that I 100% wasn't pregnant when I started taking the drugs (I know, I'm being a bit crazy haha). After the progesterone we are doing Clomid (or Gonal-F....we are still deciding), and then Ovidrel and Endometrin. I can't wait to finally start our treatment on Saturday!

My ideal date would be some drinks and live music, followed by a late night swim at the beach and a bonfire! (...is it summer yet? haha)

    Update:
finally got a hold of my doctor. I was prescribed provera and clomid weeks ago but was told nothing about them. I already knew what provera is for and when/ how to take it so I did and now on CD 2 my doctor gets back to me and told me to start clomid on CD3. Then I go in on day 24 of my cycle to do a blood test before doing anything else.
However one thing I never missed when I didn't have a cycle was cramps. (they've been horrendous since 3 days before I started AF) I can't sit without crying and I just want to lay on the couch and watch Harry Potter movies with our cats. And I have a horrible headache and have for the last 10 hours so my shift tonight was a blast. I'm also in the process of moving and had to deal with every idiot in my town deciding to walk into my work tonight so I really timed out which week to start the provera well.

my ideal date would be a concert at pine knob followed by a bonfire.

I saw my RE on what turned out to be CD1. Since I had all my testing done with my OB before the appointment, I was able to get started on treatments this cycle. I took 50mg clomid CD3-7 and we will do an IUI when I get a positive opk. I had a follicle scan this morning and I have 1 big follie and 3 little ones. Depending on when I O some of the little follies may catch up.

We are planning on doing 3 cycles of clomid + IUI +/- progesterone if the clomid isn't enough to stop the bleeding I normally have during my LP.

@ahende04  fully agree being told to wait sucks big time!

Nothing new here, waiting for an appointment.

An ideal date for us is going to the beach with a picnic supper, and I can hardly wait for summer weather to do this again. Soooo sick of snow!

3 people around me are KU. Sigh. AF showed on CD 30. A liitle late. Starting IUI. A friend said it doesn't make much of a difference but my radiologist said it might. Moving next month too, but I read IUI is a minimal discomfort procedure.

    Hi All -
I'm back from a long hiatus.. and a very needed one for that matter.  Since our last failed IVF in August, I've been focusing on myself for a while.  My DH had a TESE procedure to extract the fresh sperm and we now have that frozen.  I've been working with a personal trainer 3 days a week and getting myself in shape and my health in order and as of today am down 20 pounds.  I feel better than ever and for the first time since September can say that I am mentally ready to try again.  We have an appointment with our RE on 3/15 and will decide if we are starting again in March or April.  I see a lot of new names on here so I'm looking forward to coming back and getting involved on here again.  It was always such a support in the past!

    Just a refresher:
2 failed fresh IVF cycles with no frozen embies
    MFI motility and count
    Me: 39 DH: 38

    Me: 40
    TTC #1: 3 years

Going through IUI with Donor Sperm

Well weve gotten our official diagnosis today, really bad luck, the RE's words not mine, though I do agree. All of our tests came back normal. We did get a Bfp 3 wks ago, so far so good, saw a heart beat today but we still arent out of the woods yet. Right now plan if action is keep taking Endometrin twice a day (if my pharmacy can get its act together) and come back weekly for checkups. He said he wont release us for atleast 6 more weeks. So that gives me time to find a new OB since mine just moved to a hospital not covered by my insurance. He said If I came in with a list of 5 OBs Im interested in he would help me narrow it down. Luckily I know som L&D nurses to ask too.

Hello everyone, I am currently 3 days into stimming for my 1st IVF. I will have my 1st ultrasound March 10th to check in on progress of my follicles. The bloating has set in, but that's a good sign.

My ideal date would be spent cuddling up in front of a bonfire... Which I hope to do soon!
