Bravelle Recall update

Hey ladies, just wanted to let you all know that Ferring finally paid out and I got my refund check! They ended up refunding me all of the Bravelle costs minus the 50% that I had already received as a rebate. If you took Bravelle in the past couple of years and haven't contacted them, please do! I'd hate for someone to miss out on a refund of this much money! I honestly don't think I got a bad batch since my RE never increased my dosage during my cycle, but if you think yours was, I think there might be some class-action lawsuits. While I appreciate the extra surprise money, it definitely would not have been enough compensation if I thought it ruined my entire IVF cycle!

10/7/2015:  ER  11 retrieved, 8 mature, 7 fertilized w/ ICSI
10/12/2015:  Transferred 5AA and 4AA blasts, froze one 4AA and 4BB
Beta #1 9dp5dt:  122!!! BFP!
Singleton, due June 2016

    When did you submit your claim? I've been waiting a while...
    Me- 39 (turning 40 in April), TTC for the first time ever (since Jan 2015), low ovarian reserve
    Married 3/14/14 to my wonderful wife, but her sperm count is rather low
    TTC with frozen donor sperm and science

    7 IUIs, 7 BFNs.
    2 IVF attempts, both cancelled and converted to IUI, both BFNs.
    Decided that my tired old ovaries are ready to retire.
    Next step- reciprocal IVF, using my wife's eggs, my uterus!  
    fresh 5 day transfer (2 embryos) 4/17/17- BFP! 
    Identical twins "due" 1/2/17 (but anticipated arrival sometime December)

    I think early December? I had called a couple of weeks ago to ask the status and said it was processed Jan 29th. I just got the check in the mail a couple of days ago though.

    thanks for the update @caitiemae ! I submitted mine beginning of January and was worried I hadn't heard anything yet, I'll wait another few weeks before harassing them:)
