I know we missed it last week, I've been extra space lately.
How far along are you? What fruit that has stopped making sense is your baby being compared to?

Ooh but now I want grapes and a grapefruit....
Anything baby related going on this week?
Just sewing, crafting, etc. Hopefully tearing out the carpet in the nursery. Finish painting the nursery. I put together the bassinet yesterday just for kicks and be a use I'm feeling extra nest-y lately.
Rants/raves/symptoms/questions?
The usual suspects: gassssss, back pain, Braxton Hicks, hip instability, sleeplessness, persistent hunger, emotional rollercoaster, tons of kicks now despite the anterior placenta. Although despite all this I have been feeling kind of pregnant goddessy, maybe it's the "glow" or maybe it's the elation at getting kicked constantly that's making me feel like all this struggle pales in comparison to how amazing this all is. But it's probably just the hormones and I'll likely cry about something irrational in like five minutes so don't listen to me haha. I do have a question! What are you guys snacking on? I'm starving all the time but I'm having a hard time eating enough without abandoning my attempts at healthy eating. Looking for snackspiration!
GTKY: What are you reading these days?
Ina Mays Guide to Childbirth
Mindful birthing
Hypno birthing
And my husband and I read The Hobbit outloud to the baby at night.
Anything baby related going on this week? Not so much. Baby shower invites get delivered today and my sister is going to stop by so I can see them. Not very exciting.
Rants/raves/symptoms/questions? Charlie horses in my legs when I stretch at night is a PITA. Otherwise I am feeling pretty good. I'll take it!
GTKY: What are you reading these days? The new book by Sue Klebold called A Mother's Reckoning (her son was one of the Columbine shooters). I am not reading any baby books but I have heard good things about The Happiest Baby on the Block but haven't picked it up.
i will be trying to finish up our baby registries. And also narrowing down nursery plans. Right now we're thinking Ninja Turtle theme but my husband mentioned we'll have to make sure the turtles don't look too mean.
tired, moving slower, shortness of breath, indigestion, swelling hands, hungry all the time
for healthy snacks, I like bananas and harvest snaps pea crisps. I also like a lot of unhealthy snacks.
I picked up a baby names book at the lib! Non-baby related- I just finished The Husbands Secret which I disliked a lot. Just started Lord of Misrule.
I've got my next midwife appointment on Monday, and I'm hoping I'm sprung from pelvic rest, at least partially, once she is able to review my a/s results. I'm also planning on starting the baby's quilt today! I'm totally a novice sewer so I'm sure I'm going to fuck it up, but that's okay, right?
I've been feeling the baby move/kick A LOT so I'm pretty psyched. I gave myself a food allergy reaction last night because of pregnancy brain so I feel like I have a killer hangover today. Which is something I haven't experienced since summer, so that's novel.
Just finished Ina May's Guide to Childbirth so I was going to jump in to Hypnobirthing. And on audiobook I'm working through the Outlander series, currently halfway through book 7.
19 weeks - halfway for this twin mama. They are mangoes, zucchinis, game boys, and hedgehogs.
Anything baby related going on this week?
Starting the massive clean out of our office on Monday to turn it into the nursery.
Rants/raves/symptoms/questions?
Nausea has let up a decent amount since last weekend's horrific display. Hip pain. I wake up every morning feeling like my hips are going to fall out of their sockets.
GTKY: What are you reading these days?
Not much. I skim through WTE and my Dr Luke book about multiples but I've been slacking with reading, which is weird because I love it.
How far along are you? What fruit that has stopped making sense is your baby being compared to? 22 Weeks. Giant papaya.
Anything baby related going on this week?
putting in the ceiling fan/light in his room today.
Rants/raves/symptoms/questions?
So many questions. I really just want to be able to see into the future.
GTKY: What are you reading these days?
Does the Bump count? No? Then nothing.
Nothing for baby this week. I need to clear out DD's new room so we can move her out of the nursery in April.
Sore hip and exhausted. Feeling kicks now though!
I've been reading Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? almost daily. That's about it. I have a 1.5 year old and a back that bothers me in bed so nap time is when I'm ready for a nap too.
Nothing really. I did go through my closet and got all the old baby clothes out. That was an emotional roller coaster. I do not remember my other boys being that tiny.
So tired and sore. Also wtf BH. Its way too early for that crap.
Besides kids books with my boys at night, nothing. I need to get back into reading. I'm just so dang tired.
, 💙💙💙💙💙💙
got a dresser/changing table!
feeling all the baby movements, love it
reading 1Q84 by Haruki Marakumi
Baby stuff...20 week ultrasound this week! So excited to see my LO. Loving all the baby kicks I'm feeling these days too. My mum-in-law brought a box of baby cloths over so I enjoyed going through it! I'm team green so haven't bought much yet!
Rants and raves... Sore hips. My legs started acting up this week in the evenings/at night. Sore feet (I expected this at some point since I have naturally flat feet anyways). Always snackish...totally open to snack ideas! My go to has been carbs
GTKY... My midwife recommended Ida Mays Guide to Childbirth so I want to find that.
23 weeks - barbie, grapes, grapefruit
Anything baby related going on this week?
Picked up my alphabet letters at Michael's this week. I haven't actually done much with the nursery but I'm slowly picking up supplies. Just need to actually get started. I can see it in my head and I think I'm afraid it won't look as good as I imagine it.
Rants/raves/symptoms/questions?
I ache everywhere. Mostly hips and back and feet, especially by the end of a shift, I'm limping down the hall. And heartburn and indigestion and trouble sleeping...I know I shouldn't whine so much because its only going to get worse, but I just feel so uncomfortable allllll the time. I'm also super emotional for the first time, even though most of the hormones are supposed to have evened out by now. I was ragey at work today and then cried on the phone to my mom about it. WTF.
GTKY: What are you reading these days?
Just finished a novel called Seed about a girl in a cult who doesn't realize its a cult. It's YA fiction, which is mostly what I read. I have Bringing Up Bebe on my shelf but after hearing from PPs how condescending it can be I'm hesitant to start it.
