I've heard a lot of bad stuff about teething tablets, but I'm not sure if all of that information is old and outdated or still relevant. I looked up the Hyland's teething tablets and saw that the belladonna in them is what's bad, but what about baby Orajel Naturals? Has anyone tried them or heard anything about them? LO is crying 24/7 and I feel terrible that nothing is working for him, but I don't want to give him anything that's going to hurt him.

Re: Teething Tablets
Our hits were frozen damp baby wash cloths, Sophie, and snuggles. Once older, Motrin. It worked way better than tylenol on teething pain.
Apart from the numbing, Orajel is also not recommended because of a rare condition called Methemoglobinemia due to the benzocaine. It is rare but most common in children under 2 and can be serious and potentially fatal. It results in the oxygen in the bloodstream being greatly reduced. As PP stated their naturals line doesn't include this ingredient.
I think Belladonna is fine in smaller doses but Hylands manufacturing process wasn't controlling the dosage properly and some tablets had a much higher concentration than others which led to the problems. The website says that the process was changed and the issues were addressed and dealt with. TBH we just stick with Sophie and Motrin, some days and some teeth suck worse than others but they seem to do the trick.
