For some reason @parsonsperson 's siggy freaks me out the most. Every time I glance at it all I see is bush, and then I have to remind myself that it's just henna.
I tried looking up that psycho chick who wanted a leap year baby, but I can't remember her name...
That actually was her screen name- PsychoChick....who we all wish we were like. and had the best doctor evah....one who could GUARANTEE when our babies are born.
*sigh* crazy day at work and I miss the best bump day yet! I bump from my phone so dusting off my home computer to go see the May fun.
Also, today my friend (due April 18th) had her baby and it freaked me out! A May baby, shit just got so realllll today. (friend and baby are doing very well.)
Also, we are recommending THC as an anti-nausea medication? Seriously? W.T.F.?! That was so not my takeaway from the pot thread.
I took a break from my giant paper and got on here. This is my first time on the actual computer and these siggy's are insane!!! I am dying laughing over here!!
All I've eaten today is chocolate cereal and bean and cheese burritos. The former for breakfast, the latter for lunch and dinner and the former again now for a snack.
I know you ladies aren't a fan of adult shirts with phrases on them, but I love this one!
I like them to an extent. I actually almost bought this one because I'm a carb whore. Most of mine have something to do with either coffee or sparkly shit. Lol.

I am so over this winter. My skin is so dry! I think I need to change lotion, since mine isn't working anymore. I'm using Avenno right now, and within a few hours my skin is dry and itchy again. Any recommendations?

Have you tried mixing lotion with coconut oil? Otherwise cetaphil or cerave. I think I spelled them right?
DS 9/2/13 was a BFP from an IUI! Triplets due 6/29/16 also from an IUI!

Mixing lotion and coconut oil is a great tip. Also, my lotion of choice these days is Curel Ultra Healing. Has really improved my skin this winter! Good luck!

My derm. recommended Cerave and Aquaphor pre-pregnancy and I loved Cerave but I haven't done the research to see if they're still safe. (Just lazy here!) I use unrefined coconut oil and love it: I smell like a margarita but I'm not too greasy or itchy!
Is it just me, or are you guys noticing that whenever someone asks your due date and you tell them, they immediately have to tell you someone else who was born close to that date. e.g. Cashier at grocery store: "When are you due?" Me: "June 2nd" Cashier: "Oh! My 23 year old son was born June 17!"
I don't get it. Am I supposed to think that's an amazing coincidence, that someone I've never met was born in the same month as my kid? And the people who are like, "Ooooh, maybe she'll be born on my birthday!" all hopeful, if their birthday is even remotely close to my due date.

I know aquaphor is safe as my Peri told me to use some on my nose to help with bloody noses this pregnancy.
DS's pedi sugested cetaphil or cerave when he was tiny and had dry skin so I think they are both fairly safe. They both helped him a ton.

Yes! It's silly. It's all I can do not to explain that since there are 365 (366 in a leap year) possible birthdates and over 7 billion people in the world, there are over 19 million people that will share baby's birth date. So, no, it's not that interesting.
At 430 am my brain was all "Hey, since you're awake, let's freak out, shall we? Ready, go. Kitchenreno-nurseryisntdone-workingtoomuch-omgimhavingababysoon-whyaminotasleep-whyismyhusbandstillasleep..." Feeling overwhelmed and cranky as all hell about it.

YES!! I also don't get it...like I care about some random person due in June. People are weird!

Yes! My cousin is all like "my birthday is June 27" and I'm due the 16...extra 11 days? Nope. Mine are always early...more likely to come on my lazy BIL birthday, Heaven forbid, I'll refuse to push!
I so badly want to keep up with this random thread because I have so many random thoughts, but I can't keep up. Every time I go back and look there are hundreds of new comments. 85 pages?!?!
I feel the same way about the daily checking for some reason this is easy for me and those are like "it's been up an hour! How are there 50 comments?!" The good thing about the random thread is you can kind of jump in any time, even if you've missed a few topics.
@parsonsperson I don't understand it either! We have a lot of June birthdays between mine and H's families so I'm constantly hearing about who wants the baby on their birthday. Random but related: H's cousin just got engaged to a girl no one can stand (super fun). Here's one of the many reasons I can't stand her:
We went to H's grandparents house to announce that we were expecting (this was a while ago). His aunt and some of his cousins were there so they found out too, no big deal. When this b***h finds out I'm expecting June 25th her reaction was "Oh great another person to share _____'s birthday." I seriously almost lost it and punched her in the face except I was sick so I didn't have the energy. First off no one else has his birthday and second do you really think I give a shit if my kid shares his birthday? News flash: I don't!!!! Ugh I hate her so much. I had to let it out!!!

But clearly, that person is a special snowflake who requires a day all their own so that the rest of us can properly celebrate their magnificence. Spew. I don't blame you for wanting to punch her in the face.
I just want to thank you all for sharing your emotions with me. Especially your sense of humor!!!! It has been a late struggle for me as at 22 weeks I found out I was pregnant...(26 weeks now) So much stress at work and home and you forget to listen to you body and you realize that early menopause did not start like you thought. My body was just playing games...so coming to grips and changing plans and quickly preparing for baby has been mind blowing. So thank you all for making my days and nights so much more. YOU LADIES ROCK!!!!

@MamaNicoleof3 right in the middle! My EDD is June 12th. Baby has always measured a week ahead, though so my OB said it'd probably be closer to the the 6th - so that's the date I use on here.
So I bought this dress from pink blush and I hate it. It took only two days for pink blush to get it to my house (another reason I avoid Zulily). The lace top is like a sports bra, and it feels like pajamas. I will spare you the pics of me wearing it.
I still am in need of a gown... Back to the drawing board...
PS, my sweet husband that brought home the Edys? Well. He never got laid for it (too tired) and now we are fighting. On the bright side. I left him home wih the 2yo, grabbed my knitting, and headed to Caribou Coffee. It's not my day. But I am going to make it better.
@parsonsperson I get a lot of that too. My due date is also my best friend and my MIL's birthday and my friend in particular is very keen for baby to come on her birthday. I've got no control of this situation guys!
i will second that I find this thread way less overwhelming than the daily checkin. I only respond on that one if there are less than 20 comments when I see it because otherwise I get overwhelmed soooo basically never.
sorry to hear about the dress @NicknShan sometimes online shopping is a bitch

Dr. Hauschka has been my life saver this pregnancy, especially for my face. The rose cream moisturizes really well and doesn't burn like some other stuff I've tried. Pricey but worth it.
@NicknShan I'm at panera I left dh after arguing with him because I suggested getting a ikea cubby for lo's storage. He stated "I'm not storing shit for the next 6 months" (because we are currently in house limbo) um he's going to be here sooner then that and he isn't even thinking of things we need to get to prepare his nursery. I stormed out to eat lol.
Hopefully he will apologize and it will sink in that he needs to kick it in high gear and work together. Otherwise I'll just keep eating and secretly shopping.

Yesterday I literally thought, "well, the dog only has to go to the groomer two more times before the baby is here."
I still am in need of a gown...
