so I keep track of my period on an app. And it's pretty much clockwork give or take a day. And always has been. My question is this: I would think with all these treatments I would be getting AF the day of my beta if not pregnant but I'm still following the calendar. So my beta should be today but AF according to the calendar shouldn't arrive until Sunday. One month I got AF five days after my beta but it was right on time according to my calendar. I'm not on progesterone either. Wouldn't I get AF the day of beta if I'm so regular? Sorry. I hope this makes sense. Haha
Re: Question about AF coming
---Trigger warning---
TTC since April 2013
Two cancelled IUIs in Aug and Sept '15 due to low motility/count
IVF round 1: January 2016
ER: February 17, 2016; 9 retrieved, 7 mature, 7 fertilized
Day 5 Blastocysts: 5 BB, 1 AB, all normal from PGS
FET date: May 11, '16; transferred 1 AB embryo
First beta: May 23, '16: 998!! Second: May 25, '16: 1648
EDD: January 27, 2017
They let me wait for beta 14 after FET and this time even 16 days. Which is 2 days after my AF.
As my snowflakes are 5 days old at 14 days wait, I'm 19 days after conception when having beta.
But like @dragonfaerie says, bloodwork is much more correct and could be done before AF.

I guess the apps only use your previous cycle lengths and if you are always having the same cycle length then they can estimate better than 14 day LP.
