Hello and Intro *TW

Hi- I wanted to do an intro: I had a MMC two weeks ago at 10w2d and had a d&c the following day. This experience has been incredibly hard but I am starting to heal emotionally. My DH and I had been TTC for 1 year and had gone through 2 IUIs in October and November and both were unsuccessful. After further testing it was determined that I have a uterine polyp and may have some issues with my tubes. We scheduled my procedures to remove the polyp and do a tubal cannulation and were on hold for a bit. Then on January 8th we got a surprise BFP three days before my hysterscopy. We were over the moon and so happy that we conceived. Everything was going well but our happiness came to an end on Feb 16 during a routine check up and the heartbeat was gone. TW: I have two kids from my first marriage but this was my DH's first child. He was so excited to become a father and I was looking forward to having this journey with him and raising our little one.

We met with our RE last week and he suggested we go through the tubal cannulation and hysterscopy anyway to give us the best chance since we are starting up fertility treatments again once my procedures are done in April. So for now I am benched

I wish I could get right at it, but I am listening to my RE and being a good patient. I am trying stay positive and get through my days and quite frankly sometimes I feel different moment to moment. The shock of our loss has worn off. Now, I'm just sad it happened and hope we will be lucky enough to conceive again and have a healthy baby.

I've been reading some of your posts and you all seem like a great group of ladies, so even if I am benched, I hope it's ok I hang out and get to know some of you. I am active on the Miscarriage and Pregnancy loss board as well.

So sorry for your loss. It's a really crummy situation to be in. This forum at least helps you vent some of your concerns and frustrations with people who somewhat understand what you are going through. Allow yourself time to be and feel whatever it is you want to feel.
