Awake times

Since most of the day babies are sleeping since growing is exhausting, what times is your LO awake? How old are they?

Currently we are at 5 weeks and get a good hour stretch in the morning around 7 am after his feeding. Lots of cooing, smiling, and even started laughing. Then he's awake around noon for under an hour. He's also awake during 5-8 but that's in and out with his fussing.

Re: Awake times

  • My little one feeds every 3 hours or so from 6:30am to 3pm. He typically stays up for about an hour and a half at a time after that and snacks here and there. Once daddy comes home from work he typically knocks out lol at 6pm. Goes back to his every 3 hour feedings lol

  • LO is 6 weeks tomorrow and will be awake for about 1 1/2 after her morning nursing session. Depending on our day, she is awake anywhere from 20mins to 1 hour in between naps. Then she catnaps and cluster feeds all evening.

  • Caleb is now 4 weeks and has been staying awake for about a 2-3 hour stretch when he gets up in the morning, takes another nap around 11-12 and sleeps for 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Then  he is usually awake for another 2 hours before taking another short nap and then around supper time is awake for another 2 hour stretch before going down for he night. He has been doing this for the last week or so.

  • Carmine is 4wks5d. He's awake around 1hr to 2hr depending on the day as well. It's never the same time. It depends on what we do during the day.
  • Wyatt is 10 days old and is awake during the day, usually around 12 or 1pm. He's awake right now, at almost 9pm. And he's always awake 11pm-3am, usually screaming his head off.

My baby at almost 4 weeks is almost identical to yours with his wake times. Good to see how much the others sleep too.

  • My LO is 2w3d and she actually seems to be awake a bit more than I thought she would. She typically wakes up at either 7 or 8 in the morning and then is up for an hour or two. Then she sleeps for a few hours, eats, then sleeps some more. She usually is awake again in the early afternoon (2 or 3) and sleeps until 5 or 6 (whenever I try to eat dinner lol). She'll nap again until around 8 or 8:30 when we start our bedtime routine and she's down by 9. At night she really only wakes up for feedings and diapers. I can usually get her to sleep until 11:30 and then 2:30 and then after that she wakes up pretty much hourly until she's up for the day
