8 weeks today

Do you find yourself wanting to get dressed up to feel pretty or do you feel better in elastic waist and sneakers

I'm almost 8 weeks. To be honest I am not the "dressed up pretty" kind of girl, but I do need to be presentable for work. I would wear pj pants 24/7 if I could.

I love my sweats and pjs. I more of a jeans and t shirt kinda girl. But once or twice a week, I pretty up just for the heck of it. Most of my wardrobe consists of scrubs anyway so don't have alot of options for dressed up pretty days.

  • I'm so bloated (moreso because I made a poor, yet delicious, high salt meal choice last night) so all I want is pj pants.

  • My office is casual but very trendy (I work for a French company).  I plan all my outfits for the work week on Sunday and hang everything up together on special hangers to alleviate that morning stress.  I'm still concerned with dressing well and looking good at work, but there are a LOT more maxi skirts and leggings/tunics being integrated with my outfit.  There's no reason you can't be comfortable and stylish!
  • While working, I like to dress up! So I'm in a pencil skirt today. I have to dress up for my job though.. I'm in sales. I haven't had tons of bloating so everything still fits fine. Now on the weekends, I live in yoga pants.
  • I've been trying not to slack on my looks this week.  Ha.  Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday this week... I felt so miserable I could barely put on makeup (but I did my best bare-minimum look).  Today I'm feeling better and actually put on high heels, and a cute stylish top + work pants.

After work at home, I look sloppy---but I'm realizing I should try to be better about it.  So on weekends, I dress extra cute and take the time to do my makeup.  I feel like SO appreciates it, and it makes me feel better about myself.
  • Pretty bloated, so tights and PJs for me all day every day. Except at work, but I get to wear scrubs.

My tights are trying to kill me. My skirt isn't too tight but the tights have to go. Stupid having to dress professionally.
  • I have major bloat so I've been doing yoga pants 3 out of 5 days. Fridays I like to dress up a little more, makeup and such, but most days it's comfort over cuteness! Can't wait to start buying some cute maternity tops!

  • I hate wearing restrictive work clothes even when I'm not busting out of them and feeling pregnofunky. I am most at home in my pj pants. They are not pretty, but I've never been pretty. They express my personality (I have Star Wars, Ninja Turtles, and Super Mario pajama bottoms....)
