First appointment is next Tuesday, at 10w5d, with our midwife. I'm just praying we hear a nice strong heartbeat.
Still sick, tired, can barely adult.
Sister in law's baby shower is Saturday, and I was the one planning/hosting it. But thankfully my good friend stepped in and took it over for me. All I have to do is decorate tomorrow and show up Saturday. Hoping I can make it through.
GTKY: I have 3 siblings (2 brothers and a sister). I'm the oldest. I wouldn't say we're super duper close, but we definitely get along and have each other's backs.

Upcoming appointments? My soonest appointment will be an elective ultrasound to find out the sex in 3 weeks!

GTKY: (stealing from Monday) How many siblings do you have and are you close? I have 6 siblings (2 full siblings and the rest are half with 1 being a different dad and 3 sharing the same dad but different mums)
2 of my siblings I've never met and I would say I'm close with my only sister (full sibling) probably because we're 11 months apart.
@JLmama118 I can't imagine not having siblings. A lot of my only-children friends had/have some intensely close sister-like friends (or cousins) growing up so I hope the same for you!! Otherwise who was there to get into mischief with when you were a kid!?

Rants/Raves/Questions? Announced my pregnancy at work today. Everyone loved the munchkins (thanks @AnnaS930). Even though my team is all guys, they were pretty excited and are kind of into it, which is cool. It's starting to feel real now and I'm getting excited!!!
GTKY: (stealing from Monday) How many siblings do you have and are you close? I am the oldest of four with two sisters and a brother. One of my sisters is only about 18 months younger than I, has a daughter 6 months younger than mine and a baby on the way in May. We're pretty close even though we live in different states. My youngest sister is 8 years younger and my brother is 9.5 years younger. So we're "close" but only as much as life allows (they're in college and understandably just have different life priorities/goals right now).

GTKY: (stealing from Monday) How many siblings do you have and are you close? I have two sisters. We are super close. Talk almost everyday and see each other weekly or every other.
I was supposed to have an appointment yesterday, but I had to cancel because I didn't have a babysitter. I need to call and make another appointment, but this time I'm going to talk to my babysitter first and see what times she is available.
Symptoms are few. I want to eat, but nothing sounds good. Actually, everything sounds really revolting.
I have 7 siblings. 3 sisters and 4 brothers. I'm pretty close to all of them. Especially my sisters. I don't see my brothers as often, but I know they've got my back if I need it.

GTKY: (stealing from Monday) How many siblings do you have and are you close? 2 older brothers. We get along great and I guess we are close - I am definitely closer to one than the other. My oldest brother is married to his high school sweetheart - they just had their 10th anniversary but have been together for nearly 20 years. So I definitely consider her a sister

Upcoming appointments? March 17th is our elective Anatomy Scan. I can't wait to find out if I am carrying a he or she!

GTKY: (stealing from Monday) How many siblings do you have and are you close? Technically I have 4 siblings but was mainly raised an only child. My mother only had me and was 'Fixed' lol. My dad has 5 kids total with 4 different woman. 3 of them are biologically his but he only raised his two step kids. My older half Brother and younger half sister were raised by their mothers like me.

Rants/Raves/Questions? I'm already so tired of the constant bathroom breaks, and I know it's only going to get worse
GTKY: (stealing from Monday) How many siblings do you have and are you close? I only have 1 younger sister and wouldn't say we are super close, she is 5 years younger than me so we were never in the same stage together. Now I live far far away so we don't see eachother often.
What size is baby? A plum but I still am not really showing yet. Just in my hips, thighs and booty.
Upcoming appointments? March 28th will be our 16 week check-up. We just heard the baby's heartbeat for the first time on Monday though.
Rants/Raves/Questions? Saturday is the day we reveal the pregnancy to a majority of our closest friends. I am telling my boss tomorrow if she comes to work (she has been sick all week). Then I think I will tell the rest of my office and do our posting on Facebook next week before our 1 year wedding anniversary. Or we may wait and reveal it then. I am not sure yet. But either way, I am excited to finally start cluing people in!
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? The fatigue is slowly easing up. I have some good days now which I never really had before so the bursts of energy to run errands or get work done are great. I still have days or moments where I want to pass out, but I am optimistic I will have more good than bad days soon. I have started getting light dizzy spells and headaches but I am not too bothered by it yet. But I do fear the pregnancy brain is getting WORSE ( I hope I survive until the due date!). I am such a klutz and keep hurting myself (luckily nothing serious yet but still).
GTKY: I have 2 siblings (one older brother who lives in Memphis + his wife and my older sister lives in Ohio + her husband). I am the baby and live in Michigan where the majority of our family resides- so I am the good child for sticking near our parents, haha. I am really close with my brother but my sister and I love each other and are getting a little closer as we age. She is so pumped to finally be an aunt after having 2 kids herself so I think the pregnancy and baby will bring us even closer.

Rants/Raves/Questions? The universe was trying to tell me I should have stayed in bed today. I have another cold coming on and my throat is on fire, I woke up and thought it was Saturday and was sorely disappointed when I realized it was only Thursday, and my ice vanilla coconut latte from Starbuck was missing the vanilla.
GTKY: (stealing from Monday) How many siblings do you have and are you close? I'm the youngest of four. My brothers are ten and thirteen years older and my sister is 13 months older than me. My sister and I fought a lot growing up and didn't become close until I was pregnant with LO. Despite the age difference between my brothers and me, we are quite close.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Rave! We found out through a blood test that we have a healthy baby girl! My 3 year old DD is thrilled, my DH is a little disappointed, but he's happy.
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? Nausea seems to be subsiding along with the intense hunger. I love oranges and orange juice right now though!
GTKY: I have a sister 4 years younger and a half sister 10 years younger. We are not super close, we are very different, I attribute it to growing up primarily with different parents.

I was cutting up lemons today and sucked on one and it was so freaking delicious. My taste buds were so happy. It was the funniest experience. I proceeded to suck down a half of a lemon. Weird.
I have 5 siblings. 4 sisters and a brother. We are all extremely close. My closest sister is 11 months younger and a marine. Most of us got together tonight and cooked my mom a birthday dinner. I feel really blessed to have my family. I love them dearly.

Rave! We announced on FB today and it felt SO GOOD! My husband also announced at work and everyone was so supportive. We're feeling really surrounded by love right now.
Symptoms: Boobs - effing OUCH already. I can't hug people! Also still with the middle school acne. Ugh.
Cravings: Swedish fish!! Finally gave in and they tasted like heaven!
Aversions: All meat. Fish is ok but def no mammals or birds. Ick, feel sick just thinking about it (not usually a vegetarian)
Siblings: I have a brother who is almost 8 years older. We've had a very tumultuous relationship, but seem to be at a relatively peaceful point right now. He lives of on the other side of the country, which helps, but I do miss my nephews (10 & 12)

GTKY: (stealing from Monday) How many siblings do you have and are you close? I have one blood sis, one step sis and one step bro. My blood sis lives a few streets away but I don't hang out with her a whole lot. I already can tell that's going to change when Baby comes. She wants to hang out more. I live about 45 min - 1 hr (depending on traffic) away from the rest of the family so I just see them on holidays and Birthdays. I see my Dad every Day since he's my Boss.
