Placenta Tear

So at my ultrasound today everything went well except for the mention of a placenta tear. She said hopefully it will heal on its own and that was that. I wish I would have asked a little more but I always freeze up when it comes to things like that.

Has as anyone had this with previous pregnancies? With DS we didn't have any issues really. So after a recent m/s I'm trying not freak out.

That's good to hear! Sorry about the previa. That was a concern with DS but it moved so it wasn't an issue in the end.

  • How far along are you? My guess is it's a SCH. they do normally resolve themselves and usually before 12 weeks. I would call your nurse back and ask.
