Welcoming baby Audrey

My little girl Audrey Renee Wardell was born at 12:02pm 1st of March so only just not a February baby. She was 10 days overdue, weight 8 pounds 3 ounces and 52.5cm long. My waters started leaking the night before and contractions were there so my midwife asked me to go and be monitored at the hospital. They kept me in over night as there was risks of infections and we're going to start me on the syntocinon drip at 11am the next morning. When my midwife came back in the morning she had discovered I full fully effaced and 4cm dilated and my waters were bulging so she broke them at 8:30am. Straight after contractions began which were quite intense so I went into the shower. I must've been in there for some time, it really eased the pain. I then started feeling a lot of pressure and asked for gas which I got and my midwife checked me. I was now 8cm dilated and next minute I am laying in the bed beginning to push my baby out. I am super lucky!
