We are expecting baby 3 and I usually like having names by the end of the first trimester. I realize it's a bit atypical, but it's just a way to cope with the anxiety of early pregnancy.
So, I'm going a bit name nuts.
One of our boy names is a very distinctive family name, so I can't really share it. We are really wanting to use names with Scottish roots or strong Scottish associations. I have no idea for any middle names.
Our top boys' names are:
- Kirk
- Ewan
- Keir (husband isn't big on it)
- Cailean (or this)
- Rory (because the real spelling, Ruaidhrí would just be a pain in the arse for any kid)
- William (maybe)
Our top girl name is Maisie but, again, no idea for a middle name. I love Caoimhe and Saorsa but I know no one here will be able to pronounce or spell them.
Some help with middle names or other girl names would be appreciated. Last name starts with a D, two syllables.
Appreciate any assistance, thanks!
K.

Re: Need some middle name assistance
Keir or William would make nice middle names.
For girls, what about Maisie Adair? Maisie Fiona?
Maisie Fiona is adorable. Very feminine. Isn't Adair a male name though?

ETA: just looked it up. Definitely masculine, a variant of Edgar. Scratch that off the list.

I like Rory William.

Ciaran
Niall
Declan
Donovan
Connor
Colin

I love Ciaran personally but my husband does not. Donovan is now on the list.
