Progesterone supps masking m/c?

is anyone here on progesterone? My symptoms have vanished and my concern is if progesterone will keep me from bleeding if I had a miscarriage. My fear is I go for my ultrasound tomorrow and find out baby stopped growing since my 6 week scan was just wondering if anyone with previous losses had heard of supplements masking miscarriage symptom

My doctor thinks progesterone supplements may be why I had a missed miscarraige last time. Baby hadn't grown in over a week and I had zero spotting. My losses before that one always had spotting leading up to a natural miscarraige and I wasn't on progesterone supplements during those pregnancies.

On the flip side, don't let lack of symptoms cause you undo stress. My symptoms come and go and baby is doing fine. And when I had my missed miscarraige with progesterone supplements, I had symptoms until about a week after my D&C.

I have had a missed miscarriage while taking progesterone. But my first loss was a missed miscarriage and I was not on progesterone. Like you, I have worries about the supplements masking a miscarriage and I was concerned about being back on progesterone this go around but ultimately, my doctor said "why reinvent the wheel" since I have also had two healthy pregnancies while taking progesterone supplements. Unfortunately it's not something we can control. I know (believe me I know) how hard it is to be hopeful and free from fear, but everything will be ok! I hope you receive nothing but good news tomorrow!!!

Iv had multiple losses, none while.taking progesterone but 2 of them i had no "symptoms" at all, one miscarried naturally the other went 15 wks past fetal demise before we had a d&c. I also had a partial molar pregnancy that my progesterone was never high at all but still progressed to 4 months.
Can it mask a fetal demise, yes. But that isnt always the case. Its hard not to worry about it, but all you can do is hope for the best. Be happy about being pregnant. Even with 8 losses i dont think about the loss its self i think about how happy i was to be pregnant, how relieved i was to not be throwing my guts up for a few days. Just relax.

Dr actually put me on pregesterone to decrease my chances of another m/c. To aide in the growth and development of the placenta. And actually I don't know wether or not it makes a difference. But I have actually had more pregnancy symptoms this time while on the progesterone than previous pregnancies without it.

My last 2 losses I was on progesterone and I still bled heavily for 2 weeks before having a D&C, it seemed to make my mc last longer in my case.

Yes!! Baby is perfect!! Measuring a couple days ahead wiggling. Arms and heart rate 174bpm!!!!

Glad you had a great scan but idk why everyone thinks progesterone will keep you from bleeding or having a mc. I took it from the day I got my bfp and I ended up having a mc I started bleeding on my own just fine
