Upcoming appointments? Friday! It was not supposed to be an u/s visit but they are doing one to double check LO isn't a double (at 7.5 weeks one doc thought she saw a second sac but other doc did not).
Rants/Raves/Questions? Still pretty tired and have nausea if isn't been like an hour since I've eaten. I went on a 3 mile walk yesterday and was proud of myself, of course then I ate a bag of Doritos... I told my work team last week and it went great.
I don't know what I'll be. I want to be bright and bubbly but will probably end up being neutral....
I bought and ate too many mini cadbury eggs this weekend, I really need to cut that out soon.

Rants/Raves/Questions? This might be TMI but I'm am soon swollen and tender "down there." Has anyone else experienced this? Is it normal? I called my midwife and am waiting to hear back from her.
I hate pastels. Always have, probably always will. When I was 3 I started to refuse to wear them. I will probably go neutral but bright so a combo of neutral and natural and bright and bubbly. Aside from clothes, I'd love to be able to reuse the expensive things (DH and I don't want to be OND) so neutral would be nice but I LOVE bright colours.

Upcoming appointments? Had a blood work/Doppler appointment last Thursday, so my next isn't for 4 weeks.
Rants/Raves/Questions? Told the other teachers on my floor. They're all really excited, which is great. We're going to be telling friends/extended family starting in about a week or so, once we can see them in person. Otherwise, just frustrated that my nausea seems to be getting slightly worse. Also, I'm still falling asleep at 8, but now I wake up at 3. I'd love to shift that so I can stay up later and wake up on time.
I'm thinking neutral, but not necessarily staying with natural. I like the greens/browns, but I'm excited about a lot of the bright yellows and blues I've seen in the gender-neutral territory. We're team green, so for now we'll be staying away from the traditional pink/blue dichotomy. Post-birth, though, I'm expecting a lot of gendered gifts. I won't complain, if it means onesies I don't have to pay for!

Definitely no pastels, I love neutrals but also love bright colors. I'm thinking a neutral nursery and big ticket items I can use again in the future. As for clothing a mixture of both neutrals and brights.

Rants/Raves/Questions? I'm traveling next week and am a little hesitant. I have to pack and make sure DH and the kids will be good for the week while I'm gone. Not that DH can't handle it, I just worry when I'm not there. I'm a worrier by nature, but need to try to make the most of this kid-free work trip and try not to stress.

Upcoming appointments? Just had my 12 week appointment today. The doctor couldn't find the heartbeat at first which freaked me out even though I know that is normal at 12 weeks. Got another peek at baby via US and saw that little heart pumping away at 161 BPM.
Rants/Raves/Questions? Not really. Excited to go public. Contemplating when/if to do a FB announcement. Maybe today--leaping for joy on leap day?

Upcoming appointments? Tomorrow! Physical exam, possibly ultrasound, first tri testing, and genetic testing
Rants/Raves/Questions? I haves head cold that has moved to my chest making me cough every 10 seconds. Other than that, pregnancy symptoms have lightened up and I'm starting to feel normal again.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Thankfully everything looked good in our NT ultrasound and CA first trimester blood work. yay!

Upcoming appointments? Not again until March 22, just had our 12 week Nuchal at which they changed my EDD to Aug 28.
Rants/Raves/Questions? Just sick of my nursing aversions causing me to wean #1- but after 18 mos I guess it's time to take a break before #2.

Upcoming appointments? I had one yesterday and everything was fine. Baby was moving all over and the MFM had to "chase" baby around with the doppler lol. Heart rate was great at 155 bpm!

Upcoming appointments? Nope, not until 15 weeks. Just had one last Monday and saw my cutie.
Rants/Raves/Questions? Yesterday I got my NIPT testing back and we are low risk and I'm grateful. Random failure: I signed up to send in popcorn for my daughter's Dr. Seuss party yesterday and totally forgot. It's terrible because this is only the second time I signed up to send something in (those other moms are so quick on the sign up!) AND embarrassingly this is the second time I forgot. I'm so ashamed! I need to get my s*** together. Oh well, DD1 still loves me.
My style is survival. We had our first two while we were both full time students with no income. Free or cheap has been my style. Now we have incomes (yay!) but almost no time so our "nursery" will be a PNP in our bedroom. My daughter share a room that used to be a boys room before we moved in and we still haven't taken down the boyish wall paper. Oh well! One day I'll be on top of my business. Bottom line: babies look cute in anything!
