Sadly, I am too tired today to feel very bitchy. However, I had to spend $300 this weekend on the stupid cat who got his tail closed in the front door so I'm not too happy about that.
I love my husband, I do, but he is a bit of a hypochondriac. Like the definition of "man flu". My pregnancy symptoms have been going full force since last week, and every time I complain about nausea or heartburn or just being ridiculously tired he goes "me too." and then starts talking about his headache or indigestion. I can't say exactly what it is that irks me about it, but I'm looking for sympathy here buddy! Not a competition.
@housewifehobbyist omg you just described my husband. It gets under my skin like nothing else. You have all my compassion!
My bitch is also at my cat. I don't know if she's not getting enough attention or what lately, but she has been meowing like CRAZY, and it's mainly around 3-4am. I seriously can't take it. She wakes me up at night and it's so frustrating. DH goes to bed later than me, so I asked him to shut her in the office last night but he didn't because he "couldn't find her." So instead I got 4 hours of sleep. Thanks to both you.
@JamieK1882 bloodwork, antibiotic (because he had a giant cut), and pain killers. They said they could x-ray it but if it is broken they can't do anything except let it heal on its own anyways. Just keeping an eye on him for the next few weeks. Cats are dumb.
@smmatt08 Ugh that sucks. Poor kitty. I was thinking it was probably like a broken toe, not much they could do for it. Random thought, but man that would hurt if a cat really did break their tail. Think about how much they move it.
This weekend at work was so exhausting (I am a RCA/caregiver at a senior home) on Friday it seemed alot of the residents who had the flu were getting better than Saturday a few other ladies got it and it was bad, I was so worried about getting it I traded with the person cooking but right now we have 3 people on one shift (including the cook who is there for 6hrs) for 15 residents and then Sat I had really bad morning sickness starting at 3am on Friday still had to go to work because there was a bunch of people out of town or working their other jobs I threw up 3x there and then ended up having to stay 2 more hours after my shift because one girl called in sick and in the hospital and the other one never showed up! Of course when I went home since I have 3 kids it was straight back to mommy duty they sorta let me sleep on the sofa for an hour
I left work today because the nurses office thermometer said I had a fever. (I'm a special Ed teacher). I didn't feel good so I'm glad I left but when I checked my temp at home, no fever! So I called my dr and made an appt that I wound up cancelling because I don't actually have a fever. And I need to save my sick days because we have to use those if we go out before the baby is born!
@PeggyOlsonFTW same here. I went from being in the gym 5-6 days a week to missing an entire week and I don't see going back anytime soon. Not with the nausea happening ALL day, everyday!
Married 11-11-11 TTC only since Dec 2015. I had some weight to get off. Been working hard in the gym for over a year. BFP 02-15-16 with our first IT'S A BOY!!!
Trying get DD's stupid Girl Scout cookies! I have an appointment with my therapist after work at 6pm every other Monday, because we don't have Girl Scout meetings. Well tonight is cookie night since it's a night off! Guess what time pick up is? 6pm. Oh, and since I'm the one who signed DD's permission slip to sell the stupid cookies in the first place, only I can pick them up, not DH. She said she'd be there late since her sons have Boy Scouts tonight at the same church, so I'm going to go after my appointment and get them.
Oh, and THEN she wanted DD's Dad's (ExH) order separate from mine so he can go pick up his own cookies. Well he works 2nd shift as a cop, so between getting sleep and going to court, there's no way he'd be able to get with her at a good time, so I just lied and said we called all his contacts for him so technically those are our sales.
It really shouldn't be this hard to pick up some effing cookies.

@PeggyOlsonFTW With you on that one. I haven't been for a week and a half and it's making me crazy. I'm so tired and nauseous that I just can't do it. And, one of my instructors isn't going to let me hear the end of it when I do get back there even though he knows what's going on. He's actually pretty cool - he just likes to tease us all a little bit when we miss his classes. The joke will be on him when I puke all over the equipment.
My boss is bored and since he can't internet correctly, he needed me to get up from my desk (which means leaving my space heater and putting my shoes on) to go into his office and help him order a part for the toilet seat on his boat. The toilet seat. I actually had a work task that involved a toilet. Is this real life?? I'm sure my baby hormones are making me much more annoyed at this than i should be, but still.

My bitch is about how there's still tons of spechul snowflayk posts every. single. fucking. day. How many posts about constipation could a board possibly need? (Just a random example.) My God!!!
And THEN mobile Bump ate my post, and I had to refresh 4 times before I could post. GAH
I figured out another one. I can't eat cottage cheese; I packed one for my afternoon snack but the texture is making me nauseous. I LOVE cottage cheese. I'm SO bummed.

I haven't been to the gym since last Wednesday and probably won't be able to go this week until Thursday. I feel so gross.
Yep, me too! I had the best of intentions to go every day after work last week...but by the time 5:00 came, all I could think about was going home, taking my pants off, and laying down. Or eating tacos. This is not cool.
It's 4:15 and thus far I still have good intentions. The gym IS in my plan tonight.
Been dealing with major nausea all week, nothing I'm not used to though. (No gallbladder, so constant digestion problems). Remarkably managed to make it through my hour workout everyday, with the help of a trash can next to me of course. My husband has been reading "What to expect when your wife is expanding"; he has taken up one of the authors phrases, "I'm pregnant too". I think we all know how that's going.
I had a stomach flu all weekend and it assed me out (no pun intended!)--my DD went to stay with my parents so that she wouldn't get it and I was shitting my brains out all weekend. Nausea, fever, chills, diarrhea. Through it all I had to write a paper for grad school and I don't know how I did it without dying.
My OB called and said that my blood work showed that I have a "sluggish" thyroid. Now I have to wait for the hospital to call me and make an appointment so that I can go get the proper medication to deal with it because they said that untreated can harm the baby's brain development. I'm a nervous wreck now and that's not good for my diarrhea.
Today is the first day I'm really feeling the nausea. The previous weeks were just episodes of feeling faint and some aversions.... but not today. Lifesaver candies are the only thing keeping me from throwing up. I was so exhausted at 10am after sleeping a full 9 hours last night. I actually took a 40 minute nap in my car during my lunch. How am I going to fulfill the 4 workouts I've schedule for myself this week?
Then SO tells me that he has to go away to DC for an ICSC convention the week of my birthday.
@Peggy Olson Me too, I was in super training mode for a 1/2 marathon. Before I found out I was pregnant I was running 4x a week and doing a boot camp 2x... Now I've found I have to eat something before I work out and by the time that settles I'm exhausted and don't work out. I still make it to my bootcamps though... Last week though I was a dud I had like no energy usually I do the challenges given by the instructor now I'm doing the modifications...
I also hate that it's going to snow tonight! I was at the dog park in short sleeves yesterday now I'm anticipating 3-8 inches
I just had an awesome dinner but there is a smell to the container I microwaved the food in that's lingering in the air, and on my skin. It's taking away from my deliciousness

Shoot hope that wasn't about my post! I put that in the title trying to be cheeky because I knew I had a somewhat dumb question but still wanted to ask.
I have 3. One is also my cat. He has done the extremely loud meowing in the middle of the night for a while too. To the point that it wakes everybody up, the dog is barking and the baby is crying, and for no damn reason! He finally stopped and replaced it with puking in my bedroom floor right by my bed every single night for like a week, that of course, I stepped in when I got up. Thanks cat. Two, SO bought 3 boxes of Girl Scout cookies yesterday. Guess who feels compelled to eat every single one of them? Me! Ugh... Three, my sweet little baby has become a full blown maniac toddler that I feel like I can't take anywhere because he loses his shit when he can't just run around and get into everything. Places like the bank and the doctor where everybody is staring at you because your kid is raging. Yeah. My first baby was so calm and manageable. If I have another like my second, god help me. I want to see this when I go places.
I want calzones (maybe because I've been watching Parks and Recreation...). Pizza Hut no longer has the P'Zone. There's this great place called Fritella's which sells "fritellas" which are like calzones... but it is closed on Mondays. What restaurant is closed an entire day? I have to make due with stupid frozen pizza.
Had a late lunch today and was starving. Went to eat my salad I eat EVERY DAY and with the first bite I was like: ...and I just bought three bags of it.

No. This wasn't in reference to your post. (Even though it was extra super spechul.) The fact that you called yourself out in the title means that you knew in advance that you might get some side-eyeing for that one. My bitching was more in reference to the multiple symptom threads (Constipation, bloat, lack of symptoms...) and the "how will you announce" and over all clutter on the board. Even I made a special post yesterday, but at least it wasn't something that has been covered already. When there are two of pretty much the same topic on the same page, it blows my mind!
The people who feel the need to use the elevator to go up or down a single floor are starting to drive me insane. It also never fails that these people have taken a bath in cologne or perfume. By the time I have gotten to the 16th floor I am either holding my breath or diving for the bathroom in case my nausea turns into more than nausea.

Ugh, we tried to go to Pizza Hut for their buffet today. We always go on days off from school because they only have it M-F. They were closed for cleaning during the lunch rush today!! I was so sad. The guy said to call and they would let us know when they were done. Um no thanks, sir- I am pregnant and need to eat NOW!
