Maternity boy shorts, anyone?

I've had a miserable time trying to find comfy maternity underwear as my belly grows. Specifically boy shorts, which are my favorite.
I'm an XL and not a fan of underwear that fit under the belly.
Any recommendations?

  • Pretty sure that at this point, all the underwear will be under the belly, amirite???!  :D

I have been comfy in bikini briefs about 2 sizes larger than my pre-preggo size. I get 100% cotton Hanes or Fruit of the Loom with a fabric waistband. I like the bikini cut because it's low rise so doesn't try to cut off my belly but is still full-butt-coverage.

Hope you find something comfy soon!

  • @fourtsixand2 I just bought a bunch at Motherhood Maternity last week. They were 5 for $25 so comparable to VS and aerie. They are very comfortable but a little big on the butt area. They aren't boy shorts but are full coverage and comfortable on the belly. They have several different styles too!

I have been living in the over-the-belly briefs from Motherhood, but never found any boyshorts.  (I hate hi-cuts and briefs but have made do.)  I think they're the most comfy I'm going to find at this point.
Also, our Motherhood store closed in our mall....so, I'm having to scour the web to order online.
    Thanks y'all!

  • I like the American Eagle ones. The lace waist underwear from Victoria's Secret are still working for me but I'm not sure if that style is boy short exactly or not, but it seems similar.
  • I've been wearing my regular underwear this whole time.  I buy low rise so they're under the belly anyway.

    Maybe Gap has maternity undies?
  • I'm wearing regular underwear too (VS or Aerie) even though I'm carrying very low. I'm planning to buy a bunch of new underwear PP anyway, so I've just been folding it over.
