Doing great! The class joined to mine by a door is the 3 year old sever special needs class and a little boy with Ds and leukemia started yesterday. I fell head over heels in love with him when I met him yesterday so I've been in an awesome mood yesterday and today! I've been talking to his mom via fb for a while now so I knew he was coming and had been looking forward to it.
Baby preparations/updates?
alllllmost done with the wood floor in the closet. We repainted a darker gray. Ready to get the furniture in!
we had an appt Monday and everything looked great!

GTKY: What piece (or pieces) of baby equipment are you most excited about using with your LO?
hmmmm. The baby K'Tan carrier. It was designed by a mother that has a baby with Ds so it's easy on their low muscle tone bodies. I didn't babywear my son so I'm excited to do it this time.
Rants/Raves/Symptoms? This week its been lots of aches in my uterus/belly... kind of disconcerting. But I've felt the baby consistently move/kick everyday so that has been a wonderful reminder that all is going well!!
Baby preparations/updates? Picking up the Dutalier glider that I raved about finding on a 2nd hand site this weekend, once I get the measurements/style # I can order the new cushions/upholstery for it!

GTKY: What piece (or pieces) of baby equipment are you most excited about using with your LO? Hmm, I've heard such wonderful things about the rock n play being "magic" so I am hoping it works as well for us!!

I am working on DSs room still. Hopefully this weekend it will be done! Pics to follow... Then off to the master bath updates before I can even think about the nursery... My 1-hour GD test will be 3/10.

Ummm... hopefully his crib sooner this time around? We also may be getting a sit N stand stroller. Not sure if that will go well or not!

Rants/Raves/Symptoms? Lots of RPL and heartburn. I have discovered from a tip from a friend that papaya extract helps with heartburn. You can buy a chewable tablet (I swallow mine because I can't stand the chalkiness) and take it after every meal. It has been helping with taking off the edge.

Baby preparations/updates? Working on sewing up all the bedding and curtains, etc this week. It's coming along nicely I think. GTT on 3/9, my doctor let me bring the drink home last appt since I live so far away, so I can drink it on the drive in next time and won't have to wait around for an hour.

GTKY: What piece (or pieces) of baby equipment are you most excited about using with your LO? I think I'm most excited to put her in her little bassinet. Everyone in DH's family has slept in it as infants for the past 3 generations. It's just a little wicker Moses basket type thing, but I think it will be incredibly sentimental.
25 Weeks tomorrow! A head of cauliflower. Holy shit.

I too am feeling a lot of stretching, pulling and RLP. I have been taking the dog for a 15-20 minute walk everyday, and I get 10 minutes in and feel like my uterus is going to fall out of my vagina.
Baby preparations/updates?
Had my 24 week checkup on Monday and everything was good. It was quick as usual, but it's always nice to hear that strong heartbeat. Other than progress on baby's room, just working on de-cluttering, getting the house organized and will be installing the wood floors in April.

Hmmm, either the Boba baby carrier or stroller since we're out and about all the time. Looking forward to keeping up our active lifestyle with a baby on board
Rants/Raves/Symptoms? Rants: tired, getting sick again, hungry all the time.
Rave: it's Friday and I think we are going to go to Chick-fil-a for breakfast tomorrow. And for dinner I am making the crispy lemon chicken that @fishwife799 shared and I'm really excited about it. And Fuller House tonight.
Symptoms: crappy sleep, sore back, the usual.
Baby preparations/updates? Nothing until 3/8 when I have my glucose test. Working on organizing rooms this weekend.

23 weeks - a grapefruit, bunch of grapes, chinchilla. There's so much variation in these size comparisons week to week!

Heartburn is slowly ruining my life. So are all of these crazy emotions. It's been a very trying week, but I'm looking ahead & hoping this new week is much, much better!
Other symptoms: occasional RLP, itchy, headaches.
Baby preparations/updates?
I haven't done much at all this week. I need to start working on the curtains for the nursery (& by "I need to..." I really mean "My mom needs to.." hahaha). Once those are up I think the nursery will really come together.
I think H & I might head to BRU today for Baby Fest. So much of our registry items are currently on sale! Since my shower isn't until so late I want to make sure we have the "important" items covered so I'm not rushing in the last few days.

I'm super excited about the MamaRoo we registered for, as well as the Boba Wrap. We registered for an Ergo as well, but for some reason I'm most looking forward to using the wrap.

Rants/Raves/Symptoms? Symptoms: Nothing much, just what's becoming the usual. Rant: a friend's mom commented on how much I've popped out since she saw me four days ago. Which made me feel like this.
Baby preparations/updates? Nothing lately. H flies out for Canada tomorrow, so I'll have nothing but time for the next two weeks.

Rants/Raves/Symptoms?
Rant: baby stopped moving for a day, pretty sure it was just to terrify me. (Probably was just hiding behind my placenta, but I've felt him every day for over 6 wks so it was nerve wracking.) Symptoms: BH maybe? Very dry skin.
Baby preparations/updates?
Finally talked to my friend about my shower and that went great. Then came home and cried Bc my sister said she'll be tentative and I felt like no one on my side will make it. It can be frustrating at times having all my siblings and family and old friends on a different coast. Other than that- I'm knitting, does that count!

A rocking chair. Hands down most excited about that one thing. Just rocking with my LO.
