After 3 weeks of speculation, worry, limbo, plummeting betas and unfavorable ultrasounds, we finally confirmed today that my pregnancy is not viable. The original sac still remains empty and measures 9 weeks (30 mm). And the 2nd sac they found two weeks ago is also empty and mis-shaped. It looks like 2 blighted ovums. Although this pregnancy was totally a surprise & unplanned, I'm still disappointed. I want to thank everyone for their thoughts & prayers while going through this. I gave my 2yr old DS and 3yr DD extra big hugs tonight when tucking them into bed. I'm sad I bought a 'Big Bro' t-shirt for DS. This just wasn't meant to be.
I was late joining the Bump group. Hopefully I'm the last person to say goodbye from the group. I'm happy to see most of you near the end of the 1st trimester. I want to wish you all happy and healthy pregnancies. Take care!
