i left my appt Thursday discouraged as I was only 1.5 cm and still thick. Went to bed that night and woke up at 3 am with some contractions. After 7 hours of contractions we finally went in. I walked the hospital for an hour to get from 2.5 to 4 and was finally admitted. I had one epidural that failed and by the time I was 8 cm I was in tears. They took out my old epidural and did a new one just in time to push. Jameson was born at 6:56 after just a half hour of pushing. I'm sore but recovering well and he is just perfect.
