Hey everyone,
So this is the First World Problems thread where we can vent about our otherwise insignificant or "silly" problems. Some people had voiced dislike of the thread and what it represents in terms of "First World" and weren't too keen on the humor of it. I, in no way, want to offend anyone and was wondering if we should take this into account. Maybe the title of the thread could be changed? "Petty Complaint Friday" "Silly Complaint Friday" or something like that? I don't know how much of a difference it would make but maybe it'll make others feel more comfortable with seeing this in their weekly feed. Let me know what you all think and I'll honor what the majority wants!
Mine for today is: DH and I went to Target yesterday and got sucked into the vortex. $250 later we left and I regretted not buying this cute little pink hat for DD that I saw in the dollar section when I first walked in. I remember thinking, "I'm NOT buying that hat because I'm only going to get essentials." I'm such a moron.
Re: FWPF! (And discussion to possibly change the name?) 2/26
Hubby and I went to a nice hotel on our wedding night and got bumped to the presidential suite. We went back on our 1 year anniversary and they did it again. I wrote a long, sweet letter to the manager thanking him and his staff, telling him that I rave about the hotel to everyone, and telling him that we would be there every year for our anniversary. He responded and promised that he would always try and save the presidential suite for us. Well I booked our reservation today (cause I know I'll forget) and then realized that I won't be able to use the hot tub in the suite this year! I started crying. Lol
I just wanted to add that I carried this title over from my last Bump birth group and hadn't thought of the implications of it so I think this title change is a good one!
well thankfully we also have an awesome Tanzanian staff as well!
maybe this belongs in FFFC, but I definitely take hot baths nearly every night. It's the only thing that makes me feel good. I did it last pregnancy too. It's not scalding, but definitely hot water.
Wow @kmolletz that is so cool (and heartbreaking at the same time, I'm sure). Where are you originally from?
I grew up north of Boston but was living in Minnesota prior to moving here.
