So with a baby on the way, we're starting to look at houses! We'd already planned to buy within the next 12 months and have the financial wherewithal to do so, but now the timeline feels a bit more real. Realistically, baby will still be stationary 12 months from now, so the rush to get out of our apartment with its unbaby-proofable water heater (it's just... there, behind a folding door, hanging out in the living room) isn't too bad. But we're starting house hunting this afternoon. Anyone else thinking about movin' on?

We are getting ready to list and DH is being a big buttface about the fact that we have to put all of *his* crap in storage. I am a minimalist and he is a "collector" (his next stop will be hording) and he's throwing a bitch fit about having to put his 250 hockey jerseys in storage, along with 75% of his t shirt collection (at last count he had 653 t shirts). I am going to have to play the pregnancy card. I want to get rid of 25% of our possessions.
We moved when my son was 3 weeks old last time. Trying to pack up at 35+ weeks and then moving and settling in after a c-section with a newborn...never again.
