Bump buddies!

I need a bump buddy with the same due date!  EDD is September 17th!

    We're all due around the same time (September), and you can't really know when your baby is going to arrive - it could be August 31st or September 21st! If you want to connect and get support with others this is a great place to hang out! Read a few threads, get a feel for the board and jump in to participate!

    Also, sounds like Sept 17th will give you a Saturday ticker change (the day each week you move up to the next number of weeks along?) Whatever day that is for you, check the board that day for that day's ticker change. You'll find others due on your due date that way, and perhaps can form a closer bond with them if you follow them each week!

    Great callout for the ticker change @AnnaS930. OP as we get closer do our EDD most will likely have a due date buddy that will announce when they go into labor  (at least we did that on my old bmb) but this is too early in the game for that.

    My due date is September 17th :) ditto to the Saturday ticker thing! Except there wasn't one last Saturday :,( hopefully tomorrow!

    @Ah825 This saturday if you dont see one and your ticker change is then, feel free to start it!!!

    When do we pick labor buddies and how does that work? I never had one on my old BMB because I joined too late.

    I can't remember in mine when we chose, but we had several preemies and I think they had buddies. So I'd say mid-July, just in case, and that gives time to exchange info and some to GTK the person better if you wish. We had some drama with people choosing LBs and it becoming a popularity contest and some feeling left out.. So I think we ended up with most being paired at random, with someone the opposite end of the month (so you're not both in labor at the same time). And you would let that person know you were in labor, and they would alert the board and post updates on your behalf. Some husbands updated friends and families so they may send group texts, with LB included, or whatever you each decide. Sometimes the LB would update the board, and then the mom would chime in when she could. 
    I was strictly Facebook group by that time though, so my experience may be a little different than others. For this baby, I will update my same labor buddy in that group also, so it was neat to have. We don't communicate outside of FB regularly, but some of them do/did.
