Rants/Raves/Questions? We have yet to tell any of our family! I was joking with DH and said we could probably get away with waiting until spring when everyone's out of hibernation, but I know he's anxious to spread the news.
GTKY: How many siblings do you have? Are you close? One sister, one step-brother and one step-sister. If it weren't for our crazy lives we would probably be closer (me and my sis anyway). I have best friends that I'm closer with. I would like to have a better relationship with my siblings someday!

Upcoming appointments? Today! So excited to get to hear the heartbeat and know everything is ok. I'm a worry wort, so I won't be ok until we get to hear that heartbeat. Also - this will be DHs first time at the OB, so should be extra special, lol.

GTKY: How many siblings do you have? Are you close? I have one brother. We're pretty close and are there for each other whenever we're needed which is fantastic to have.
What size? A green olive? Although the thought of olives makes me ill right now so I'm going to say a grape.
Upcoming appointments? Next Friday. FINALLY. When I got the appointment, it was a month away and I felt like it was an eternity. Now it's just a week away and I cannot wait to see the US!
Rants/Raves/Questions? I was feeling pretty lucky that my bloat wasn't really coming on until late afternoon/evening each day, but this past week it started showing up pretty much immediately after eating breakfast. I'm assuming people at work think I've gone off the deep end with eating, and I also worry they're side-eyeing my ginormous boobs lately. Although I guess that's rather narcissistic of me to think that everyone pays that much attention to me.
GTKY: How many siblings do you have? Are you close? I have one sister and unfortunately we are not close. We are civil, but we don't really talk unless we see each other. I'd love to have a closer relationship, but we're just so different, so I'm not sure that will ever happen.

Rants/Raves/Questions? I purchased a Doppler and it arrived yesterday! I was able to find the heartbeat within a couple minutes and got to have DH listen as well, which was so awesome!

Upcoming appointments? Today for blood draw for genetic testing. Then 2 weeks from now to see the doc.
Rants/Raves/Questions? Nothing much today. My DH is coming around on accepting that I am pregnant. However, he is so sarcastic everything he says drives me nuts. He is constantly making comments about how tired I am, that I am not even doing anything, and that I eat all the time. It is getting really frustrating since these are all symptoms of me having his baby.
GTKY: How many siblings do you have? Are you close? 3 - a half brother, a step brother and a step sister. My step bro lives in Korea. We are not very close. I only hear updates through my parents, and my sister. My sister and half brother were both in my wedding. I love all my siblings and we get a long great. I didn't grow up with them so I am not close like you would imagine siblings to be.

Upcoming appointments? Not for a while bc we had an appt this past Wed. But we got a new US and baby looks like a baby! Heard heartbeat and did NIPT. Will know the sex in a few weeks!
Rants/Raves/Questions? So now that i'm 13 wks, I stopped Diclergis for nausea and have been given the ok for Zofran. When I woke up this morning I felt wonderful! Waking up from Diglergis is like having a hangover. And I didn't barf this am! Hoping this is a sign the worst is over!
GTKY: How many siblings do you have? Are you close? 2 and yes. Older sister younger brother. Both live close and have children in similar ages to mine. Between the 3 of us we have 4 boys between the ages of 1-3 and we get together on the weekends for them to play. Everyone wants the new baby to be a girl since we have so many boys already, but i'm secretly hoping it's another lil man

I swear baby has just now realized the last week or so that first trimester is ending right away and feels the need to play catch up in the puke department... Never puked once until just before the 12 week mark and now it's been every day at least once!!
- congestion, nausea/vomiting, heartburn and fatigue. Oh and the metallic taste has returned, ugh!
- craving a DQ chicken strip basket with gravy and ketchup and a nice big vanilla "moolate!" So thankful the closest DQ is 2 hrs away...
- Aversions change day to day but my once loved black coffee has been a constant yuck from the start

Upcoming appointments? Just waiting for the CVS results ( had it last Tues- for genetic disease concerns) and dismayed to find out it will take about a week longer than I was previously told- so 2 weeks from now.
Rants/Raves/Questions? Obviously, I've been a total mess. I held a newborn yesterday and then had an insomnia episode last night, just thinking of the worst case scenario. I'm trying to mentally prepare myself for either way.

Upcoming appointments? March 8th I get a dating ultrasound. Mostly because my midwife and I are not sure if I'm actually 9 weeks. I might be less and due in October since my miscarriage messed up my cycles.
Rants/Raves/Questions? Just that I'm pretty much over the all day sickness. I can feel fine one second and then move wrong and I'll feel sick for hours. I never had morning sickness this bad with my first three.
GTKY: How many siblings do you have? Are you close? I have four siblings! We are pretty close and have been for the most part throughout our lives. It's especially nice because my two older sisters each have two kids the same age as my own.

Upcoming appointments? March 18th is our next appointment. We had the ultrasound last Friday so I'm content now to wait. The midwife practice I'm going to also does 4 group appointments so I'll have one of those in April, should be interesting.
Rants/Raves/Questions? I found out that a close friend who has been TTC for a while is not only pregnant but our due dates are a day apart! It was so exciting! We're going to take bump pictures together once we get bumps

Upcoming appointments? Had another ultrasound today, they were able to see two separate sacs which is great news! Babes are measuring well and had perfect heartbeats.

Upcoming appointments? Not for another four weeks! Just had my NT scan yesterday so will now go once a month.
Rants/Raves/Questions? The NT scan was so great!! Baby was facing the transducer and had her little hands on her face so we couldn't get a great printed picture but we saw a beautiful little human in there! The doctor said baby seemed to be sleeping with her hands on her face and ended up waking up and wiggling around at the end. The NT measurement was completely normal and he showed us baby's heartbeat at 170, spine, arms and legs, the stomach and bladder full of amniotic fluid and the kidneys. It was such a wonderful experience seeing baby look more and more human each time. Now I just have to wait 8 weeks for the A/S and to find out the sex!

Rants/Raves/Questions? When oh when will I stop feeling so exhausted??? Grrrr!
GTKY: How many siblings do you have? Are you close? I have one full sister, 3 half sisters and a half brother. We are all pretty close, but I'm closest with my full sister, mostly because we are the closest in age (4 year difference) and the rest start with a 11 year age difference.
How many weeks? 10! I can't believe the 1st tri is almost done!
What size? A prune. Crazy how big they get between weeks.
Upcoming appointments? Next week Thursday I have my first appointment with the actual doctor and get my first u/s! I am so freaking excited to see my baby and hear the heartbeat.
Rants/Raves/Questions? I am really starting to look pregnant (maybe only to me and my husband, but still) and even though it isn't really baby yet, I'm kind of excited. I'm not looking forward to having to shop for pants though, but I really need to since my main pair of work pants barely button and are really uncomfortable now. Luckily I can get away with black jeggings and a tunic-y sweater at work 90% of the time. I'm also waiting for the doctor's office to get back to me about the spotting I had this weekend which is making it hard to focus. Has anyone else had spotting? I'm guessing it's fine since it's brown and not a lot of it but it still makes me nervous.
GTKY: How many siblings do you have? Are you close? I have 1 sister about 3.5 years older than me and we are pretty close. I wish we lived closer (it's like a 10 hour drive) so we could be pregnant together, but we have always been close. Her #2 is due in late June/early July, so it has been fun talking about symptoms and we're looking forward to texting during late night feedings.
