Hi Ladies. I'm 12 weeks and experiencing the worst back pain I have ever had! It is right between my shoulder blades. It's like a constant throbbing pain, so bad I can almost feel it in my chest. Is anyone else experiencing anything like this?
So sorry, I'm experiencing this too when I wake up. I bought the snoogle pillow, but haven't had a chance to try. DS has been sick and co-sleeping every night (not helping the back pain).
Not sure if your back pain is happening at night too. I'd start with a pregnancy pillow!
Ugh my pain is in my lower back and hip. I mean seriously, it's on fuego!! Have you been to the chiropractor? Mine also offers massages so I usually start with a 20 min massage then go in for an adjustment. But the last few days it's gotten so bad, I'm thinking it's the way I sleep. I've used my snoogle pillow so much in the past three years it's going flat haha so I might need to get a new one.
I have been having back and neck pain too and I know that it's from being restless and uncomfortable at night. I had a massage a couple of days ago and it's 100% gone! I get massages regularly for my lower back but this was my first time targeting the shoulders and it worked so much better!
I'm having some serious back pain, but it's kind of all over. I think part of it's from sleeping on my side without support. I ordered a pregnancy pillow, but it's taking 47 years to ship.
I actually figured out with my first that my mid / upper back pain was because my boobs were so much heavier it took my back muscles time to get used to it! But it hurt so bad. I'm sure a massage would help a ton. Not sure if you're having the same thing.

Thanks Ladies! I have a regular body pillow but I guess I should try the pregnancy one. And even of it didn't work, a massage sounds fabulous right now :P
My chiro recommended that I not sleep with my arms above my head... this has been life changing for my back/neck/shoulders... but I am not one to encourage anyone to stray away from an excuse for a massage either!
I have a pre-existing nerve issue that's right between my shoulder blades. Sometimes the pain moves and feels like it's my lower neck/upper back almost. I'm only 10w3d, but it's horrible. Heating pad helps. Chiropractor kinda helps. Tossing and turning instigates it. Really, really hoping it doesn't get worse as my belly gets bigger!
