  We were going to wait until our 12 week u/s but we needed up telling them a couple weeks ago. Our boys are 6 and 4 and they are excited. I show them how the baby changes every week and our youngest is always asking what the baby is doing and giving my belly kisses.

  I showed my daughter my u/s picture from the other day and got her a big sister book. After looking at the picture, looking for the baby in my belly and reading the book, she then demanded a cheese stick. So, that went well.

  I showed my 4yo DD the Sprout Pregnancy app and she really loved looking at each week's progression. Then she wanted to google pictures of newborn babies, so we spent some time doing that. She's excited.

  I told my almost 4 year old at 10 weeks.  We wanted to share the news with my in-laws during a visit and we put him in a Big Brother shirt as a surprise.  So of course we had to fill him in to avoid confusion lol. We bought him a a book called Big Brothers Are The Best off amazon and gave it to him as a gift.  He loves having us read it to him.

  We are going to bring our 3 year old with us to the 12 week u/s, I got my Harmony results today (low risk) so we feel okay bringing him with us.  I'm hoping seeing the baby on the screen will help him understand. 
  
  I love the idea of the Sprout Pregnancy app, this way he can see what's going on week by week.  And it looks like it will be helpful for me too with the appointment
