So EXHAUSTED

I am literally tired ALL the time. I get decent sleep but all I want to do during the day is sleep. This just started about a week or so ago. I used to love to clean and now I dread every minute of it and feel like I get nothing done. I shower but have no energy to actually get ready. Anyone else experiencing this?!

  • Yes!! I think the post partum hormones that make it easier to live on little sleep are running thin! Lol I don't know if that's actually a thing but I'm totally with you. The last couple of weeks have been a struggle, I look forward to LOs daytime naps so I can nap with him.

  • Try taking vitamin D supplements, I take them daily with a multivitamin and it helps

I've found that when I eat a lot of junk food or carbs I'm dragging my ass and don't feel like doing anything, but when I eat well, like a lot of eggs in the morning or snack on peanut butter or a good cheese, I feel like scrubbing the entire house and dancing all around with LO.
  • Yes! All the time  :/ I have two baskets of clean laundry that need to be put away. I never really have time to nap because the time LO naps I try to rush and get things done before he wakes up. It is sad because I am always looking forward to bed time.
  • Yes!  I second the vitamin D.  It works wonders.

  • Yes to the vitamin D! And some sun too if you're able. Try to get outside in the day light. Even if it's freezing, bundle up and just get your face in the sun.
I know it's a terrible, awful thing, but sometimes going to the tanning bed for just 5-10 minutes makes me feel so much better! I've even worn sunscreen in there, I just needed the warm bright light on my face during these dark winter months.
  • How much Vitamin D are you ladies taking?
  • Protein protein protein!!!!!
