September 2016 Moms

I use my pregnancy as an excuse to...

Sleep in on the weekends while my husband gets up with our 19 month old on BOTH Saturday and Sunday....

AND

to eat whatever the heck I want even though I know the repercussions since last pregnancy I gained 45lbs...

Anyone else already using their pregnancy as an excuse for things

  • Loading the player...
  • Not take the dog out to poop, OR change any poopy toddler diapers. (Granted, there's always the possibility these things might make me vomit, but I still feel for my poor husband!)

  • To eat whateverthehell I want.

To not carry any heavy shit (my best friends are moving on Sunday and I get the official job of "director/organizer" - yes!)

To opt out of airport scans and x-rays at the dentist.

To take naps wheneverthehell I want.

To cancel clients when I'm too exhausted or throwing up.

To ask hubby to go to the store or cook.

Yay! Being pregnant is kinda fun.
  • Never take out the trash (which I rarely did before being pregnant) but now DH INSISTS I don't touch it!
    AND
I get more back rubs and cuddles on demand... :#
  • Do the dishes...the smell of dirty dishes or the thought of touching them makes me gag. I try to just stick them in the dishwasher as the day goes but sometimes I'm just too lazy to even do that.

  • Not cleaning the litter box, eating out all the time, eating whenever and whatever I want, and not lifting anything heavy.
  • Not cleaning... Which is probably going to change eventually, but between sleep and clean, right now I choose sleep. And not bathing my eleven month old DD. Getting uncomfortable to bend over the tub already!
  • Sleeping. All.The.Time.

  • Zone out, eat ice cream, and say what I want/need in a given moment. Even if that want/need isn't met, it's nice to feel free to say what I'm thinking! ;)
  • Stay in bed all day! And I get tons of back runs from my hubby.
  • I have not done any cleaning in our house since early January. Too many chemicals. Pretty sure the vacuum has chemicals too. And cooking is totally out of the question, might make me sick. Of course.
  • Not having to get beach body ready for our vacation to Hilton Head in May. Oh yeah!
