Finger food?

We started giving dd solids. She's almost 5 months old. We put her in the high chair with support. I feel like she would love it if we had something that she can pick up with her hands and shove into her mouth because she already likes to grab the spoon on her own. Is it too early for finger food, and if not, any suggestions? Thanks!

In would say it's too early still. Finger foods have more texture and I think that might still be too much of a choking hazard.

I went to a baby show the other day and Annabel was there. I love her recipes and all of what she said made sense. I think I am going to mostly follow her advice.

I would not do finger foods, but you can let LO feed herself. Maybe try sweet potatoes, avocado or mum mums. If you're comfortable with it, check out baby led weaning.
