EIF, plexus cyst, enlarged kidney

3 weeks after our 20 week scan we got a call that baby had EIF and CPC. We went to level 2 scan the next day and the cyst were gone and he saw that baby had enlarged kidney. (It has a name I just don't remember what it was) we did harmony nipt blood testing and are still waiting for results, freaking out obviously. The doc said these to not increase likelihood of choromosome abnormalities and he told me not to loose sleep over it... Anyone expierienced this?

Not exactly, but our daughter had cysts at our scan, so they did the blood work that day. It took over a week to hear, but everything came back fine. No increased risk.

Good luck! Waiting is the worst

I had the harmony test and found out my daughter has Down syndrome. She had enlarged kidneys at our first scan but yesterday, at our second scan, it had corrected.
I have had friends who have had several markers for Ds and it end up being nothing. Really the test is going to be what gives you your answers. Waiting for the test results is excruciating and definitely the worst part of the whole process. I know your pain and you're not alone, so let me know if you need to talk!

Waiting for this test is the worst thing, it's such a roller coaster. I don't know what to expect.

They just called me and told me everything is fine! She said baby does not have Down's. I am going to leave this thread up for future mamas going through this..

Our little girl has bilateral clubfeet and a CPC...went to level II and they didn't find any other markers. I think they did the verifi21 on me, I was barely within the window, but it's also a non invasive bloodtest. Came back negative for Trisomy 18, 13 or 21. They were most concerned about Trisomy 18. Glad you got good news!

Good to hear you got good news @mrsbubsie! Our baby has cysts, but since it is isolated we decided not to do any extra testing since the specialist said there was <1% chance of Trisomy 18.
