Chiropractor?

During my pregnancy with DS, my OB recommended against seeing a chiropractor and sent me to PT instead for my back pain. My pain was on the upper right side, between my spine and right shoulder blade. It was because DS was lying off to the right, causing my spine to curve that way. I still have residual pain occasionally, although I am much stronger this time so I am hoping I don't curve as much. I really want to see my chiropractor this pregnancy. What are your thoughts? My sister went to hers throughout both of her pregnancies too. Are you aware of any risks? I am going to the same OB office but will be seeing the midwife instead. My first visit isn't for a few more weeks. Thanks ladies!

    I see mine throughout  my pregnancies no problem. The adjustments are way more gentle too when you are further along in pregnancy.

    Does you office have a nurses line you  can askbefore your appointment?

    I've been seeing a chiro weekly for the last 2 months to help with my herniated disc, and I haven't stopped since becoming pregnant. I plan on seeing him throughout.  During my last pregnancy my ob recommended a chiropractor for my sciatic pain that started around 8 months.

    Thanks ladies! There is a nurses line but I wasn't going to go just yet. I am more thinking 2nd/3rd tri when I can't stretch as well and start to lose some of that mobility in the spine. I don't understand why my OB was so against it but I hope the midwife is on board!

    Just find a Chiro that specializes in prenatal adjustments. I saw one multiple times throughout my last pregnancy and plan on seeing her again this pregnancy.
